  1. I did empty the trash but before I delete/reinstall another update came through. This latest update did the trick for me. Now Evernote works as a native windows app should. Thank you for the input.
  2. The lag in every movement inside Evernote's client is my biggest complain on the status of the app. Whatever I am doing inside the always updated to most recent version of the app, feels sluggish. I want to select a note in shortcuts and the highlight chases the mouse pointer. I am typing and even the letters appear with always a microdelay. It seems as Evernote is kind of a specialized browser that loads content dynamically, but I would expect at least to behave in simple tasks fast enough to be a native app. A better idea would be to create a local copy of the evernote data so as not to load everything all the time. Can we expect speed improvements with the upcoming UI refresh?
  3. So I opened the annotated PDF to another viewer, where it appears OK, and then reinserted it as attachment in Evernote, but it again appears corrupted. Even if it worked that was, it is a workaround, so I could just use an external PDF editor anyway and spare the trouble. PDF management and annotation has worsened in recent versions of Evernote, to the point that is basicalle is unusable. Let's hope the new owners will give this feature some love...
  4. So, everytime I annotate a PDF the annotation summary appears corrupted in the note. The rest of the PDF appears fine. Latest windows 11 and Evernote app. Happens also in my backup laptop with Win 10. Any ideas?
  5. Just to join the discussion. As much as I like some visual elements of the updated Evernote, there are restrictions and a delay in many functions that simply weren't there on previous version. I hope they update the Editor soon otherwise people are getting frustrated enough to look elsewhere. This may be a good time for competitors to offer a decent migration tool.
  6. "stopped the username and password from being filled in automatically at the log in page." Typing username and password instead of autofilling it with my 1password app did the trick for me. No login issues any more. There is maybe a small bug somewhere in Android about that.
  7. This is also a problem in Greece. Can't login to Evernote on Android 10 device, tried delete/reinstall/downgrade and now opened a ticket. People at evernote this is a serious issue that's around since at least August and no definite solution or news from you?! Please act asap.
