When I perform a new search, either global (cmd + opt + F) or within the existing note (cmd + F), I rarely want to edit the existing query. 95% Of the times, I just want to type in a new one. I don't understand why I have to delete manually the existing text, each time. It's really annoying, because it often leads to mistakes. See how search works in both Firefox and Chrome, you type in cmd + F and the existing text is selected by default, so unless you want to edit the existing query, you just type in the new one.
