  1. Hi firefusion There is no way to link to tags at the moment. Nor saved searches. Whether there will be in the future, I am not sure. Scott
  2. This idea would be useful in the use case of shared notebooks. It can be used to separate topics within the notebook, either by searches of tags/etc... (in a contents page for example) As for the technicalities of it...beyond me...
  3. Welcome to the forum I will quote others here You just move the notes from an unsynced notebook to a synced notebook, when your upload amount refreshes. I do this all the time. NBD. The whole app doesn't "shut down". But yeah, if you are trying to do something that you cannot do until your upload limit refreshes, you'll get annoying messages informing you of this. Seems reasonable to me, so the user is aware of this. So, create a local notebook, in which you can make as many notes as you want. Once your cycle refreshes, sync (so that the client knows it has refreshed) and then move the notes into a synced notebook.

  5. I see the same behavior, though I can't remember any previous behaviors...I have never needed to use it... A possible workaround would be to select all, cut and paste as text (Ctrl + Shift + V) That removes the formatting for me.
  6. hmm...a separator in the favorites bar, bug or intentional?

  7. want to try the new windows pre-release...shame it is throwning an error... :(

  8. Posting in this forum can be annoying...the post editor adds extra code, to match the source, so I get posts of mixed size and font, that I have to change myself...

  9. Aren't you going to close the old forum?

  10. "BurgersNFries liked a post you made" yay :) haha

  11. Lovin the new forum, nice work all! :)

  12. And now neither can I...weird... I have experienced this before, so I am wondering what may cause it to happen periodically
  13. When I use the EN shortcut to create a new note (Ctrl + Alt + N) or just Ctrl + N when EN is active, the note opens but is instantly minimised. Kinda defeats the object of the shortcut. It would be easier to use the mouse to press the button... Is there a particular reason for this? Win 7 64 bit Evernote for Windows 4.5.2.5517 (196948) Prerelease Snippet view | Note panel disabled Thanks, Scott
  14. By "added a word to my Evernote spell check", do you mean the menu option of "add to dictionary"? The "dictionary" is essentially, a text file with words that EN will ignore as misspellings. The file is located here: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Dict\user.dic Just remove the word and save the file. Scott
  15. I found it here (win 7): C:\Users\Scott\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Dict\user.dic (I think it is different for XP) The easiest way to find it is to go to tools - options - open database folder - then go up a level and you should see the Dict folder. Essentially a text file that EN reads and any words in it are ignored, so if you wanted to add a lot of words then you could add them to that file
