  1. That's what I do. I copy colored text from older notes then highlight and type over it. It retains that color. If I want to add a color that I haven't used before, I type something in Word, use its More Colors feature to select the color, then copy + paste the text into Evernote. If or when I need to use that color again, I go back to step 1. I haven't had issues with these workarounds. It's just annoying that to have to use workarounds, especially when it used to be standard before.
  2. I hear you, but I find that whether written or typed, taking color-coded notes helps me with memory and retention. I take written notes with either these Sharpie pens or these Paper Mate pens, and I prefer to use the same colors in Evernote as I do with written ones. One of the colors is pink and another is lilac, for example; you'll note neither color is available in Evernote. I get that Evernote's not a design app, but I don't see how implementing a 'More Colors' option below the default colors would take away from from smooth use or seamless exchange provided that the option was added across platforms. Like I said, it's an option on this forum and I don't think it'd be a superfluous feature on Evernote itself. They're adding things like tasks, calendar events, Google Calendar/Drive, etc. Why not some sort of custom color function, especially when it used to be an option? Personally, I never use sketch or code blocks but I'm sure others do, ergo it's beneficial to have. And you can still add custom colors via a workaround, so why remove the feature in the first place?
  3. Evernote needs Grammarly integration. It's been four years since the this thread began and it's still not even being seriously considered, let alone integrated into Evernote. I'd call it a misstep or an oversight on Evernote's part if it I thought you were unaware that it's a feature users want, but for whatever reason Evernote doesn't appear to be open to integration. There are so many ways that Evernote could be better, Grammarly integration among them, but it's like the company wants its product to be substandard. It almost feels silly to even ask or encourage new features or functionality at this point. I mean, we've actually lost features since the update.
  4. Can we get the option to select custom colors for text via a color wheel or something similar? It used to be an option in Windows, not sure why it was removed. It's even an option on this forum. It was very helpful as someone who uses a lot of color coding in notes. Now there are only the 14 default options. I can get custom colors by formatting text in another application, like Word, then pasting into Evernote, but that's such a tedious workaround. Maybe add "More Colors" below the 14 defaults and allow users to choose from there.
