  1. Create a new notebook, make that the default and then delete the note. But you still have to remember to empty the trash. However, deleting the account will delete the data as well so there is no real need to empty the notebooks first.
  2. It is also possible that, as a Free user, you have now exceeded the two device limit which will hamper log in.
  3. Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling? If you want Evernote support you'll need to open a ticket.
  4. And to note, all this help from fellow users in their own time which is what these forums are. User trying to help users...
  5. I would recommend that you open a support ticket to get attention from Evernote. We are just other users here so not able to fix anything for you.
  6. The templates approach will, of course, set you on course for new notes in the future. You are correct that there is no means to apply a template retrospectively.
  7. The web browser will reveal which device is not synchronising. That reveals which application data needs to be rebuilt to get things going again.
  8. The font formatting reverts to the default with each new note. To restrain your settings either set a Template or create a blank note which you copy each time you start afresh.
  9. I'm assuming you aren't using a Teams account but you posted in the Evernote Teams forums. If you are on a Teams account then you have access to Teams support via your organisation. Neither do you mention what type of account you have. If it is Free then our ability to diagnose is somewhat limited since a Free account is restricted to two devices. If you are using a paid account you can open Evernote from your web browser. Here you will see everything that exists in your account in the cloud. That should allow you to identify which device is not sync-ing correctly but reviewing the note content and seeing which note changes are reaching the servers. If you are on an Free account I would rebuild the data on the computer File / Sign Out / Remove your data. When you log back in the data will be rebuilt from the master copy in the cloud. Similarly Uninstall and Reinstall the phone app. If you have a paid account and can identify which device is not sync-ing then you can limit the work to computer or phone as appropriate.
  10. This is true. It arose because Microsoft changed things when it released Windows 11. So the problem is with Microsoft rather than Evernote. I'm sure that there could be some work done by Evernote to resolve the issue but since the workaround is trivial I anticipate that it will be sometime in arriving. Meanwhile, I recommend Win+Shift+S which will open the Windows snipping tool with the cross hairs (just like the Evernote process used to have). Highlight the screen area you wish to snip. Then open the note where you want this to be captured (if it is a new note tap Ctrl+N) and tap Ctrl+V to paste the clip into the note. To make things a bit less hassle I reset the New Note shortcut to Ctrl+Alt+N. Ctrl+N often launches a new window for whichever application has focus so doesn't always open a new note in Evernote unless Evernote has focus. Ctrl+Alt+N usually work regardless...
  11. I'd still change my password and use 2FA. Since you don't have any illegitimate access, it remains possible that @gazumpedmay have identified one means of placing the note in your account. @PinkElephant offers a means to get support.
  12. Your favourite search engine will have provided this ... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313998-Change-your-password
  13. The most common cause of hacking is the reuse of passwords. I'd recommend you immediately change your Evernote password and implement two-factor authentication. There are a few potentially legitimate reasons for receiving this note in your account but the best option is to ensure that only you have access and delete the errant note.
  14. I think you already posted this request. Please do not multiple post.
  15. The limits you are experiencing are fixed and hard. There is no solution other than reducing the number of notes and tags. It seems that Evernote is not suitable for what you are attempting to do.
  16. You haven't provided much detail to allow further support. I'd recommend you open a support ticket being sure to say which device, version of Android and the version of Evernote app you are using.
  17. I have a note that I call 'Today' which I then set to have shortcut to my phone's screen. I need to make a quick note I tap that shortcut and the note opens. I add whatever and it is saved untilI decide what needs to be done.
  18. Have a search in the Evernote help pages for support accessing your account when you have lost your password or no longer have access to the linked Email address.
  19. If you are using a Free account you should be careful to ensure that you have no more than two devices listed in your account. If you search in the Evernote help forum there is plenty of instruction of how to recover an account if you have forgotten the password or lost access to the connected Email.
  20. Who could say. Sounds like a support ticket could be in order. Have you uninstalled and then reinstalled? In the past glitches after an Android update have been resolved by reinstalling.
  21. I had something similar. I took control of the account via lost password request or similar. Then I closed the account. Seemed to work for me.
  22. That suggests a further solution for the OP. Widen the sidebar to get rid of the pop-out hint.
  23. Yes, that would be the way forward. Reinstalling doesn't refresh the local data.
