Sorry @gazumped it was not about people in the forum. It was more aimed at Evernote Software-Devs. I tend to vent on a day with four SW/PC problems with "it worked before, why not now?" then taking two hours to only fix 2. Then Evernote stopped syncing. @Boot17 I am on Vivaldi, which is Chrome based. Have you been in editing mode of a Note and then strg+T (the german cmd key) and it opened a new Tab? The page "how to customize" page https://help.evernote.com/hc/de/articles/1500002999041 is for the PC/Mac Program, does it translate to the Web App? I had to try tonight

But I think there is no native export function? Only third party apps. For me it looks like a user lock in.

I will probably loose quite a bit of text if I close the web editor. I tried to refresh the page and got a warning like You will loose shti!

What is the best strategy to change? Now EN costs will rise +40% for me next year EN closing legacy Apps -> I search for stuff 70sec instead of 5sec EN syncing unreliable Transit EN set on basic: Two devices only -> on would be Web Client What other note platform is similar to EN? What new platform has a good export format? I don't want to be locked in?

Not cool. When I weblink a note and it has internal links, can the one then jump to the next note? It is the same as shared?

Web Client has autoformating e.g. a dash becomes a bullet point. or 1. changes automatically to a numbered list. I need my notes as plaine text. How do I get rid of it? What is the difference between the - App Link - Web Link ? The iOS App has only an Internen Link (internel link ?) in the german Version. What Link do I use when I want the the same Link? (My guess is App link) To be clear, I want my internel Links as text and they must be green. I think there are two options to set, only the first didn't work for me. It is activated for several years. enable under https://www.evernote.com/PersonalSettings.action webv10+ and https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action Evernote Web: old version vs. [x] new version (I think the last gives you three webversions: An old version an old v10 version and a new v10 version, depending on which v10 version you are )

Hello Gazumped Windows with vivaldi browser I found a second switch under https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action When I use the switch new Web version old Version | new Web Version I can at least edit notes. I hate the Design I need a user setting to remove Home and AI Buttons @Mival try this setting and the one above. The two shold make the web version work again.

I noticed sync of notes take ages on iPad (v10.) and android tablet (v10) But on the old Android Phone (legacy) and Laptop (legacy) syncing has normal speed Web-Interface has also normal sync speed. Obsidian or Jopplin are alternatives when you're willing to self host

Spotlight search was on iOS legacy: The search searched only the title of the notes. A touch opened the note. And legacy iOS App did the same when you typed sth. in the search line the titles got filtered and it showed all fitting notes. Only when you hit enter, the whole note were searched. I prefere that behaviour then the new *****.

What do you use instead of Evernote?

it would be nice if the preview picture in listview is the first picture in the note. When you have notes with 3 pics it is a random pic (some say it is the biggest).

That is a nice stepp forward! The legacy versions found still more stuff You searched for Worter and it found Wörter. And characters with accents where found when you searched for the basic character e.g. e -> ë
