About jmartineck

  1. I use Evernote mostly on a Windows desktop. I wonder if you can program a right mouse button item to "delete" in the note list?
  2. I found this on a Wine help forum: I followed the instructions highlighted in red and it worked! And yes, I know this post was in response to this error (“evernote was already installed by another user.”) but it worked anyway!! Evernote installed without a problem Of course, all of the usual regedit warnings a cautions apply here! Work at your own risk!! Other user's results may vary!! The installation process failed with the same error “evernote was already installed by another user.” Manually remove registry entries. I went by http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/27220-cant-install-en-4577146/ $ grep “with upgrade” ~/.wine/drive_c/users/[your_user_name]/Temp/EvernoteSetup.log Located product {EF7E46B8-1FB7-11E2-B6B3-984BE15F174E} with upgrade code {AE2C091E-CF5F-4e30-8659-D640E23A8B99} Reverse the first 8 digits of the upgrade code ID. E.g. E190C2EA $ wine regedit Find Registry entries with E190C2EA. Export the entries. Delete the entries. I deleted “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Installer>UpgradeCodes E190C2EAF5FC03E468956D042EA3B899″ for example. $ wine c:/temp/Evernote_4.6.1.7860.exe
  3. Hello All! Is there any way to make this stop? I realize it's there for a valuable reason, but I don't usually tag or edit clip info so it's a real bother for me!! Thanks!!
