I know you are not asking me. But the workaround that I use is to move the due due date forward when I have completed the task. I still use Reminders for some reoccurring tasks, but for the ones I have in EN this method works for now.

We should see this sometime Q1 is what has been mentioned by EN - though that might be ambitious given we are already halfway through Q1. They are aware and working on it.

This I agree with 100%! I do not agree that the recent update RUINED it at all. I also see it as a great step in the direction of iPadOS branching from iOS that can only lead to a much more robust and functional iPad app. Even if I would like the old home back, or at least the option to go back to it

Pin Notes to the Top of Your Notebook
buckethead replied to BrianZ71's question in General Feature Requests
Why not just use Shortcuts? While not Notebook specific - you can still "pin" frequently used notes for easy access. If I expand my shortcuts you would see that I have 6 or 7 frequently used notes, a couple of folders, and a saved search or two. Things I use daily. -
Not true - I have a BT keyboard that I use in portrait mode. And I actually use my iPad more in portrait mode than landscape for sure on a daily basis.@ABEN had a great solution above and hopefully it is something that can be implemented on iPad in the future: I would like the Home to go back to how it was before, but understand that EN made this change and am stuck with it.

Not true. Just checked and on my iPad using iOS I was able to open an app link within the iOS app (I double checked at it was set as evernote//). I use app links extensively when lining to other notes and I have yet to have a link fail to open on iOS.

Unable to move note to a different notebook
buckethead replied to M D's topic in Evernote General Discussions
I would log out of your desktop app and log back in. Make sure any changes you have made are sync'd as you will love any changes that have not been. Then log back in and try again. If that does not work reach out to support. -
Unable to move note to a different notebook

Can you log into the web version and move the note there? That is the first thing I would try. -
Ability to see date/time of a completed Task
buckethead replied to Lissismore's question in General Feature Requests
No way to currently see when a task was completed. -
Is it safe to upgrade yet ?
buckethead replied to David Navigator's topic in Evernote General Discussions
Are you talking about the "Save Data on Logout" option? Is this really the same as the previous versions of being able to keep the data base local? I figured this option was just a way to prevent having the client download all data from EN again. -

Not sure this is going to be an option with v10? I do not recall this ever being mentioned as something they were working towards. -
You can’t.

It sounds like we should see this sometime during Q1. https://evernote.com/blog/ceo-update-january-2022/

Stuck on importing...
buckethead replied to buckethead's topic in Evernote for iOS Issues (Versions 10.0 and above)
Have you uninstalled Evernote and reinstalled it? I have not seen a stuck on importing issue for a loooooong time. -
It would be great if EN could sync only tasks in the background, not all notes. I don’t know iOS development at all, so no idea if it’s possible or not. Right now every time I open up a different device I need to wait 10-20 seconds for tasks to sync. This feel like forever when just waiting…… Also allowing tasks to sync in the background would help prevent notifications for completed tasks - for example I complete a task on my Mac, but get notified on my iPhone that I need to complete it an at its due time or reminder time later. That should not happen.

On a Mac, yes it does.
