PDFs Do Not Open and Display in V10

When I click on the 3 dots above the PDF I see 'VIEW AS Attachment' checked off, but I cannot uncheck it:

I do not have the same options when I right-click the PDF:

I created a note in V10 and dragged and dropped a couple of PDF files into the new note. Instead of opening them and displaying their contents, they show as a place marker for the file . If I double click on them, they open. I did not see an VIEW option regarding displaying PDF contents. I am a premium user. Here is what it looks like:
