  1. I could have sworn that this had already been working in v10. When I have the Legacy Evernote and v10 app installed at the same time, Legacy seems to take over evernote:// links as well as the "Save PDF to Evernote" features. What I'm trying to figure out is if reinstalling Legacy has messed up something had had been working just fine in v10.
  2. I just created 3 notes and dragged several attachments into them w/out issue. For the next, 2 notes I created, drag-and-drop would not work and I was seeing an error in Evernote. When I tail the electron.log file and try to drag-and-drop these attachments again, I see error logs stating "no such file or directory". But when I use the Insert Attachment option, I have no issues attaching the same files from the same locations.
  3. For whatever reason, I think "Check for Updates" only appears if you have the main, Evernote window in front. Which is to say that, if you have a note in its own window, you won't see that option under Help. Let us know if you're able to figure out what's up!
  4. There is a newer version of Evernote available; this is what I'm running: v 10.4.4 build 2096 public Editor: v112.1.14477 Service: v1.23.6 If you're not being prompted to update when you go to Help => Check For Updates, try downloading the latest version from https://evernote.com/download I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Even still, I use this keyboard shortcut pretty often in many apps and I don't recall encountering any issues with it not working in Evernote 10.
  5. This seems to be working just fine for me. Can you provide some more details about your OS version and version of Evernote. Can you confirm that this same shortcut is producing the expected results in other applications beside Evernote?
  6. I am fairly certain that the option to "Save PDF to Evernote" has worked at some point with Evernote 10, but I noticed the other day that is is not working right now. At least not on my machine. I'm wondering if someone can verify whether this is working for them or if this is a feature that has yet to be "restored" in v10.
  7. @Chris Baldwin: I remember there being an issue with what you're describing at some point, but I can't reproduce it right now; I'm copying text from Outlook in both light and dark modes but when I paste it into Evernote, it looks just fine. This is the version of Evernote I'm using: Evernote v 10.3.7 build 2018 public w/Editor: v111.0.14414 Service: v1.22.6
  8. Eh, just cleaning up some notes I had taken for a work project in Joplin and moving it back to the main Evernote. Definitely short on funny stuff for this project...
  9. I pasted in a couple of links to YouTube videos and was surprised to see them turn into playable thumbnails. Very nice!
  10. Just upgraded to 10. On my first note creation, I ended up with 19, different versions of the same note.
  11. I've been having issues w/this as well. Historically, I've not used tags very much in the past. It seems like it works occasionally, but not predictably. I guess I'll contact Evernote support if the inability to use the shortcut annoys me enough
  12. I was only testing in the Evernote desktop client for macOS since this post is in "Evernote Mac Issues". I really don't use Evernote in the browser, so I couldn't comment on if/how this works there.
  13. I'm not able to reproduce this myself. I tried copying text from copying from Evernote, Apple Mail, VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA and pasting into a code block is working in all cases. From what application are you copying the text?
  14. I mostly posted this for the folks whose workaround involves emailing from Outlook which seems like way more work than toggling off the message pane's dark display for the copy portion. Either way, I agree. That said, I think there's an entry further up this thread about filing a ticket with Evernote since discussion here doesn't mean that an issue is officially reported & will be addressed.
  15. I've noticed this behavior and found it to be somewhat unpredictable but just figured something out: I can copy/paste from Outlook into Evernote as long as Dark Mode isn't enabled on the email message itself. In my Outlook for Mac v16.37, there's a button called "Switch Background" which will toggle light/dark mode on the message content. As long it's toggled to the light background, copy/paste into Evernote seems to work just fine for me.
  16. In the event that you haven't already found it, there's another discussion on this same topic related to how Dark Mode in Outlook might be related to the inability to copy/paste into Evernote.
