About stompeers

  1. I actually just found a workaround, which was to use the "New Note Window" as the shortcut, which appears to do the same thing. Thanks! Chris
  2. The QuickNote shortcut is probably my most often used feature, and it looks like it's not working in the most recent version of Evernote. The other global shortcut keys work, and even when I change the key combination for QuickNote, it doesn't work. Is there a way to roll back to an older Evernote version until this gets sorted out? It's really cramping my workflow. Thank you! Chris
  3. I just spent a couple hours trying to figure out how to copy this image to the clipboard once it gets resized, but I still haven't figured it out. There's a command called pbcop that will copy the content of text files to the clipboard, but nothing I can find for binarys. I've tried various clipboard viewer applications to see if those might give me a clue as to what I should be plugging into Automator, but I still haven't gotten anything functional. If anyone figures this out, it would be super awesome!
  4. Awesome, Lance! I'm trying to get this to work by copying the screenshot portion to the clipboard. It looks like this will modify it on disk, but is there a way to add something to the script that will copy the image back to the clipboard for easier pasting right into Evernote? Thank you so much!
  5. Hey there, I just wanted to suggest showing character count at the bottom of a note window, a la Word. My particular use case is that I use Evernote to post messages to Twitter, and would like to know when I'm hitting the character count. I could also see this being useful for writing articles or reports. Thanks! Chris
