  1. I think that's a different problem. If I understand you correctly, you're referring to search (ALT+CTRL+F). I agree that's something Evernote should change. However, I started this thread because I had a problem with find within note (CTRL+F), which has been fixed since roughly mid 2022. Perhaps you can start a new thread to draw attention to the search problem.
  2. Customer support said the development team is already aware of the bug. I've been trying alternatives to Evernote because I encounter the bug many times each day.
  3. Thanks for the confirmation. I made a feature request, and I've just submitted a support ticket. I'll report back here if there are any new developments.
  4. Please make the "Find within note" feature work properly with large tables. The note window doesn't scroll/jump to the current match if it's located in a table with many rows.
  5. Sorry, I didn't know the problem is limited to tables because most of my notes contain tables along with normal text. Evernote should implement the feature properly, like all web browsers do... I guess I'll make a feature request. Thank you!
  6. Please try this: Create a note and insert a table with 3 columns and 60 rows. Type "1" into the cell in column 1, row 1. Type "10" into the cell in column 1, row 10. Type "20" into the cell in column 1, row 20. Do likewise for the cells in column 1, row 30, 40, 50, and 60. Scroll all the way to the top, then find "60". Scroll all the way to the bottom, then find "1". When I do step 6, the window doesn't scroll at all. When I do step 7, the window scrolls up about one row each time I click the next or previous arrow.
  7. Unfortunately, that's not working for me. I see the counter increment/decrement when I click the arrows, and I see the proper highlighting of the occurrence, but the note window doesn't scroll/jump to the occurrence within the text.
  8. Find within note no longer jumps to the current, next, nor previous occurrence within a note. If I manually scroll through the note, I can see that each occurrence is highlighted correctly. However, Evernote doesn't automatically scroll/jump to the right spot anymore. Version info: 10.25.6-win-ddl-public (3073) Editor: v135.2.17285 Service: v1.42.2
  9. Thanks! I followed your suggestion. They said boolean search does not work on tags, so I made a general feature request on this forum.
  10. Please allow boolean search on tags. For example, I want the ability to search for "(tag:this AND tag:that) OR tag:other".
  11. Thanks for the help! That won't work for me because I want to make saved searches to retrieve notes by tags, and the queries can't be expressed without boolean operators. I've never seen Evernote show boolean searches with tags, so I wanted to confirm before upgrading. I don't mind paying more because I support the software, but I don't want to pay double the price for nothing either, since I don't find any other professional features useful.
  12. Thanks - I had to confirm because the documentation only shows boolean with search terms. I don't want to pay double if boolean search doesn't work with tags.
  13. Unfortunately, my query is more complicated, like "(tag:this AND tag:that) OR tag:other". Would that work if I upgrade to professional?
  14. Does boolean search work with tags? For example, tag:work OR tag:school. I'm trying to decide if upgrading to professional is worth it. Thanks!
  15. To reproduce the bug: Perform a search by text or tag to obtain a list of notes in the search results. Click on the "TITLE" column header. The list will get sorted alphabetically like it's supposed to. Click on the "TITLE" column header again. The list won't get sorted in the opposite order. The same bug also occurs with date columns (e.g. "UPDATED"). Version info: 10.17.6-win-ddl-public (2775) Editor: v126.2.16348 Service: v1.37.8
  16. Please improve user experience by sorting tags in alphabetical order like in previous versions. The new way of sorting tags by creation date is useless, and it forces me to scan the entire tag list just to see if a certain tag has been added to a note.
