Reverted to legacy version as a workaround. Same problem. Maybe that sheds some light on the issue. Saw a comment in another thread about an "indexing problem". Might that be my problem?

Latest version (7.14 ), OS 11.1 Recently updated to the latest version in hopes that an old bug was fixed. It was not, but now I have a new one. When I use the search function, it won't find any notes made before the update. New notes with the same keywords are found, but not the old ones. (Incidentally, the bug I was hoping got fixed but did not: MP3 attachments to notes often have the wrong duration time on them. When you hit the play button, the full attachment does play, but the play head stops long before the audio does because the mini player thinks it has reached the end of the audio. I do a lot of audio attachments. That's why I pay for premium. And I can't scrub through my audio.)
