  1. I don't have answers for all of your issues, but: You can navigate between individual PDF pages by clicking on the PDF and using the left/right arrow keys You can go to a specific page by clicking on the page number in the header and entering the desired page
  2. 6.8 (coming soon) will support a multi-page PDF viewing experience.
  3. Hi folks - I'm filling in with this post while Chantal is away this week. We're excited to announce Windows 6.8 Beta 3. You can install it here or by checking for updates. This update improves the rendering of our note, and in particular the behaviors around printing, and PDF preview. It also makes the note pan-able if you have a touch screen. Since this required quite a bit of under-the-hood work, not everything is working quite right yet - you'll notice find and replace isn't hooked up, and some edge cases around drag & drop of files in and out of a note may not work. We've also made changes to paste & match style so this should now behave like it did previously. There's so much here, we did want to release what's already improved to get your feedback. Let us know what you think and if you have any questions on the changes! Thanks, Emerick and the rest of the Windows team. --------------------------------------- Release Notes for Windows version 6.8 Note: Version 6.8 is supported in OS versions Windows 7 and up. Improved We've made a number of changes to how a note is displayed. Some of the key changes include: Better Print results for notes including highlighting, italics and underline and the ability to print to PDF If you have a touch monitor, you can now pan notes with the swipe of a finger More quickly start a bulleted list using a hyphen. In addition to using the still supported '*'+space shortcut, you can now also use '-'+space shortcut Fixed This release has many bug fixes. Some notable fixes include A fix where words selected in a note using touch caused the application to crash A fix where users were unable to record audio A fix where attachments dropped in notes received a temporary filename A fix where replace in note (Ctrl+H) wasn't replacing text A fix where a debug port was inadvertently left active
  4. Yes, see the release notes above about "find and replace" for this beta. We're working on implementing it, but it didn't make it in time for this one.
  5. Thanks for reporting this. We do use hardware acceleration (in case it's not obvious, we use an embedded instance of Chrome in our note editor). We can investigate potentially supporting a registry option to disable acceleration.
  6. Yes, we're aware of that bug. We'll try to address it for the next beta, thanks for mentioning it.
  7. Just to follow up, we're scheduling this for our 6.5 release. Thanks again for your patience.
  8. We fixed this in 6.3 (at least according to our release notes), but it sounds like it regressed very recently. Will follow up with our PM today, thanks for your patience.
  9. Yes, uncheck "Show descriptive links" in Options > Note > Note editing options.
  10. Can you provide details? Keep in mind that we only search against the title of your Google Drive document at the moment, not its contents. If a Google Drive document title matches your search, the matching words are highlighted in the rich link thumbnail.
  11. OK, can you please enter a support request and we'll work on getting this sorted out? Please use this link: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  12. This is definitely not normal or expected behavior. Is this happening with all notes? Try pressing Ctrl+Space while in the note to simplify its formatting.
  13. Looking at our code, it looks like the current intention is that pressing ESC will revert any changes that you make to the title. However, that doesn't seem to be working correctly. I suspect that the behavior was changed from Save because ESC more typically means Stop/Undo/etc. than Save.
  14. We're actively working on it and hope to have it in the final release of 6.3.
  15. OK, sorry to hear that. Thanks for the crash reports, we'll continue to investigate.
  16. Is this happening with the tag picker? We're working on resolving a race condition there. If you check the "Close Tag Picker when selection is made" option, it will temporarily avoid this problem until we have a fix in place.
  17. I brought your feedback up with product management yesterday and they're exploring options to make this configurable. Not sure what the timeline is, but they're working on improving the experience.
  18. We're still figuring out the specific defaults to use for this view, but you can narrow your search to documents only via the dropdown in that dialog. You can click the "Connect" link to authenticate directly from the link, but it sounds like you got where you needed to be in the end. Thanks for that feedback.
  19. Are there any error messages in the log (Help > Activity Log) when you do this?
  20. OK, I see. If you do authorize on Windows (even though it's redundant), does it start to work? It could be that we're not picking up that the auth occurred on a different device, we'll look into that.
  21. You need to authorize Evernote to access your Google Drive files. You can do that by clicking the Connect link, entering your Google credentials, and clicking Allow. Until you do that, the Evernote client can't display any metadata associated with the file as it doesn't have access to it.
  22. Select the text and press superscript/subscript again, it's just a toggle.
  23. Thanks for letting us know about this. It's actually the % symbol in the first link that's leading us astray. We'll work on addressing that for our next release.
