I did issue a support ticket (and referenced this post since a .mov file can't be attached). Not sure if there is another way to change font size not 'locally' but 'standard text font'.

Hi all, Attached is a recording of the issue. Really annoying, you don't want your text jumping up and down when you write it. It basically made me stick with 16 font size to be able to work. Steps to recreate: Write some text, change all text size from 16 to 14, write something couple of lines further. When cursor moves then line size changes and text moves as well. evernote_bug.mov
