Sure you're right, I shouldn't speak for others, I'd be interested to hear which setup others prefer. I believe I saw another thread at some point where others were calling for the same change. But to me it makes sense to retain the general screen structure to support easier navigation between notes. I'm new to the forums, would you mind pointing me in the right direction for adding a feature request?

I know this has been raised before - any chance someone could address this? When you access a note through the Shortcut link on the sidebar, the pane showing your list of notes disappears. Makes the shortcut function much less functional when your note list randomly disappears. Seems like it should be an easy fix and I'm sure it's driving a lot of people crazy. It should just show the note list for whatever folder the note being accessed is a part of. This is how it was before the big makeover.

Hi, I wanted to bring up a suboptimal aspect of new Evernote which is that when I click on a note shortcut on the sidebar the note is brought up but the note list pane disappears. This seems to be a new issue and is worse for my workflow than previous versions where the note list remains open with notes from that notebook being shown. Any chance this could be corrected or added as a user option? Thanks. -Rakesh

THANK YOU Austin. Pleeeeeease change this back or give us the option of single vs double click notes. I have been using Evernote to organize all my medical notes for the past 5 years (I'm an Emergency Physician). They are all connected and indexed through links. It makes it very difficult to navigate through them and find what I need quickly. I imagine many others are in the same boat. There seems to be very little upside to showing the link address and having to click on it again to navigate. Imagine if the internet switched so that every link click required a second click. It would be very frustrating for users! Thanks so much for looking into this Austin. Answer our prayers please!
