  1. Anyone know if there's a hotkey to hide the web clipper window after a clip has been completed? I'd love to be able to hide the final window after something has been clipped. Currently the only way I can figure out to do it is to start a new clip: "`" and then cancel with the esc button.
  2. I don't think there's a way to do this in advanced search but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Is there a way to do an advanced search that would allow me to search for: (Tag1 or Tag2 or Tag3) AND Keyword(s) When I try using the any: parameter, it makes the keywords be included in the "or" of the search as well.
  3. I agree that this would be a great request. Something similar to how the Google Chrome Screen Capture app works would be great as well.
  4. But nothing for non-dated reminders? I actually date very few of my task items. Ah, I see what you're saying. A completed, non-dated Reminder looks exactly the same as a note without a Reminder (will flag for the team). All of this really implies a need for expanding the search grammar, in a way that echoes, say, todo checkboxes (e.g. todo:, todo:true, todo:false). Since I don't know the full semantics of reminders yet, I can't offer a full set, but the following spring easily to mind: : reminder: --> return all notes with reminders reminder:complete --> return all notes with completed reminders -reminder:complete --> return all notes with uncompleted reminders reminder:dated --> return all notes with dated reminders -reminder:dated --> return all notes with undated reminders reminder:<datetime> --> return all notes with reminders with a date/time value that is greater than or equal to the <datetime>argument (a la created:, updated: search terms) -reminder:<datetime> --> return all notes with reminders with a date/time value that is less than to the <datetime>argument I tug on the search grammar string occasionally (most recently when Business notebooks were introduced; at that point (and I think it's still true), you were able to create filters on your note database (or "corpus" -- read it in the blog ) using the UI that you can't recreate in a saved search. This is inconsistent with previous incarnations of The Way Things Work as I understood it, so it bugs me. Hopefully something like this is in the works for reminders. It took a little poking around but I found one search parameter that allows you to search for notes that have the reminder feature turned on for them. If you use: reminderOrder:* That will filter for any note that has a reminder assigned to it. I still LOVE the ideas that jefito suggested, but this one will help in the mean time.
  5. Does the filemame: search not search the extension of the file? In the past I thought I've done searches for filename:*docx and found any that have the .docx extension. I've also had problems in the past using the resource: search parameter in the past because there are a few different ways that application types seem to be recognized as. This has required a few different search parameters to find all the variations. For example for Excel: any:any: resource:application/vnd.ms-excel resource:application/msexcel resource:application/x-msexcel resource:application/x-ms-excel resource:application/vnd.ms-excel resource:application/x-excel resource:application/x-dos_ms_excel resource:application/xls resource:application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
  6. Second the request for RSS Import Support. I'd love to be able to pull in my Tumblr blog into my Evernote Account!
