  1. Here is an article I wrote about my workflow as a CIO, which is heavy in Evernote. https://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-workflow-as-cio-includes-heavy-use.html
  2. I have been 100% paperless for a few years now, and was 90% paperless for years before that (usually due to others, not me). Evernote is how I have done this. All of my notes and emails get saved in Evernote, I clip web pages, save PDF files, and scan any paper I receive into Evernote (I have the Evernote Scanner or use my smartphone camera). Here are some resources I used to go paperless: https://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/paperless
  3. I have used Evernote since 2009 as an educator, CIO and now education strategist. My company uses Microsoft also and I have tried out OneNote mulitple times - it does have more features, but that makes it less easy to use and does not increase your productivity. I have seen schools spend countless hours training teachers on how to use OneNote and they never get to the important part of how to use OneNote in education. Too high a learning curve. Evernote has a lot of great features and can easily be used for pretty much anything.
  4. This is a page on my blog that I created highlighting features and uses of Evernote in Education. http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/p/evernote-for-education.html I also post a lot of other articles about Evernote http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/Evernote, including an Evernote Tips and Tricks series http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/evernote tips Would love to hear about how others are using Evernote in Education.
  5. Evernote is a way to get organized. It is a great, free resource that allows you to easily capture information using whatever device or operating system you use. It then makes this information accessible and searchable from anywhere. Their tagline: “Remember Everything.” It is a digital notebook that allows you to take text notes, clip web pages, upload images and files, and much more. I love Evernote. I use it for everything. Lesson plans, lesson schedules, notes, web clippings, lesson resources, travel notes and much more. I can access it on any computer and from my smartphone. I can even share notes and notebooks with other people (like my students). It is an indispensable app for me. I have my notes organized by topic and I have reference notes, lesson plans, tech tips, and much more on here. What I really love, is that I can access my notes from any internet enabled computer or smartphone. I also like the ability to "clip" web sites into a note in Evernote. What's great, is that hyperlinks on the web page are kept when clipped into Evernote. You can also attach files to your notes. I have written a full review and newbie guide to Evernote for Educators. You can read more at: http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/p/evernote-for-education.html
  6. I have only two requests for Evernote for the Palm Pre. 1. faster loading and opening of notes 2. OFFLINE Storage of notes. This is extremely important as most of us have to access our notes even if not in 3G or WiFi range (like in some buildings or on a plane). I see that it exists for the iPhone, why not the Pre. Thanks!! Great product too.
  7. Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/Palm-D062; Blazer/4.5) Palm 690p 16; 320x320 Thanks. Dave
  8. The older site address worked fine until I clicked on "new quick note" and then it sent me to the new one. Sometimes it would keep me on the old site, other times the new one. I clicked to view a note, it went to the old view. Then I went back and clicked on the same note and it took me to the new site, which will not fully load. Help.
  9. I'm having the same problem with my Centro. Sometimes I can see my notes and edit them and even add a new note, other times it suddenly changes the site to the new look. There must be a simple way to fix this so that the millions of people who don't have an advanced browser can use Evernote mobile. I really love Evernote, but if this isn't fixed soon, I won't be able to use it anymore.
