  1. I put this together to help out some friends and coworkers. Thought I'd share it here since Evernote is a major part of it: Productivity and Organizing - Resources, Tips and ideas for being more productive and organized http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/2018/09/productivity-and-organizing-resources.html
  2. I keep mine very basic and simple with internal note links and links to files in my Google Drive I update this as needed. It makes accessing needed info very easy too - one stop shopping for the info I use most.
  3. Evernote for Education resources, posts, tips, and examples http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/p/evernote-for-education.html
  4. Here is an article I wrote about my workflow as a CIO, which is heavy in Evernote. https://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-workflow-as-cio-includes-heavy-use.html
  5. I have been 100% paperless for a few years now, and was 90% paperless for years before that (usually due to others, not me). Evernote is how I have done this. All of my notes and emails get saved in Evernote, I clip web pages, save PDF files, and scan any paper I receive into Evernote (I have the Evernote Scanner or use my smartphone camera). Here are some resources I used to go paperless: https://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/paperless
  6. I have used Evernote since 2009 as an educator, CIO and now education strategist. My company uses Microsoft also and I have tried out OneNote mulitple times - it does have more features, but that makes it less easy to use and does not increase your productivity. I have seen schools spend countless hours training teachers on how to use OneNote and they never get to the important part of how to use OneNote in education. Too high a learning curve. Evernote has a lot of great features and can easily be used for pretty much anything.
  7. This is a page on my blog that I created highlighting features and uses of Evernote in Education. http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/p/evernote-for-education.html I also post a lot of other articles about Evernote http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/Evernote, including an Evernote Tips and Tricks series http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/search/label/evernote tips Would love to hear about how others are using Evernote in Education.
  8. Evernote is a way to get organized. It is a great, free resource that allows you to easily capture information using whatever device or operating system you use. It then makes this information accessible and searchable from anywhere. Their tagline: “Remember Everything.” It is a digital notebook that allows you to take text notes, clip web pages, upload images and files, and much more. I love Evernote. I use it for everything. Lesson plans, lesson schedules, notes, web clippings, lesson resources, travel notes and much more. I can access it on any computer and from my smartphone. I can even share notes and notebooks with other people (like my students). It is an indispensable app for me. I have my notes organized by topic and I have reference notes, lesson plans, tech tips, and much more on here. What I really love, is that I can access my notes from any internet enabled computer or smartphone. I also like the ability to "clip" web sites into a note in Evernote. What's great, is that hyperlinks on the web page are kept when clipped into Evernote. You can also attach files to your notes. I have written a full review and newbie guide to Evernote for Educators.
