  1. With the old version of Evernote you could create hyperlinks which allowed you to open an app directly within IOS. e.g. A specific google sheet could be opened using the following googlesheets://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/sdofuoijrogjogerthj The new version of evernote ignores any links of this type on windows and ios, and does not allow you to create them. I assume it always insists on http or https which means that you're stuck with linking to the web.
  2. I just checked and 10.16.7 still can't sort on the reminder date column. I cannot understand, this should be really straightforward to implement and is not a new feature.
  3. 1 important issue, and 1 more minor. These both still exist in Version 10.7. 1. You cannot select text in PDFs. This is infuriating if you want to copy and paste text from a document. The ugly workaround is to export to a third party program which does allow selection. It obviously worked in the legacy version. Hyperlinks do still work so I suspect it is a set up issue in the code. 2. When you export the pdf to another program such as Mail it includes the full temporary path name in the header. This is obviously meaningless information and again is probably a set up issue in the code.
  4. I wholly agree. I am amazed this hasn't been implemented, since it would be natural to be able to sort on any column that you can display. i cannot understand why it would be omitted. Please Evernote can you ensure you can sort on all the columns as one could in the legacy version, especially the reminder date.
  5. This limitation is infuriating and I doubt it is hard to fix. This does not exist in the legacy version. The maximum width limitation applies to the note list pane whether it is Snippets, Cards or a Side List. I have particularly noticed this since moving on to a large monitor.
  6. Just to add to the previous point. There seems to be an overall lack of flexibility resizing the navigation panel and the list panel wider than a limited amount. This restriction did not feature in the legacy version. I have just double checked the latest version 10.7.6 and the restriction on the maximum width of the first 2 panels remains.
  7. This seems to be a limitation which is not present in the legacy version. In the old 6.25.2.9198 (309198) version I can expand the card view pane to a width of 10 or more. The width is limited to 4 cards width in latest version 10.6.9 for Windows. On my screens at least. It is frustrating when using Evernote on a big screen, so I have to remain using the legacy version. The width limit seems to also apply to Side List and Snippets views. I note a previous mention of the side list view and this frustration.

  9. The "Simplify and make editable" is within Evernote itself when the note contains a web clip. I'm not sure, but I think you may be talking about the web clipper where it has the "Simplified article" option. You will need to use the Email clip format when using the web clipper in your web browser. If not, then it will have just treated it as a web page so it won't have copied the attachment. This only works on some browsers, as it did not work on firefox until recently. Forwarding an email to the Evernote email address still seems to work reliably, so is always an alternative. Charles
  10. Hello Carmine I think I have found a reasonable workaround. In 10.5 if you click on the web clip, there is a pop up menu. If you choose "Simplify and make editable", then the attachment becomes available. It is still a bug, but it is possible to get at it. Charles
  11. Hello Carmine I have just checked with 10.5 on Windows and the issue is the same. In the image below you can see the attachment, but there is no way to access it when it is within a Web Clip. The workarounds are either to use the legacy Windows version, or to forward the email to the Evernote email address. On a good note, I notice they have fixed the web clipper for Firefox with Gmail emails. It is a bug which should be simple to resolve! Happy New Year! Charles
  12. If I use the web clipper to capture an email with an attachment it shows as a Web Clip in the note. The attachment shows at the bottom of the web clip. There seems to be no way to access the attachment with Evernote IOS 10.2 or Evernote Windows 10.5.7. This is an interface issue as the attachment is stored. I am able to access it with the legacy Windows version. If I forward the same email the attachment is accessible as it is not shown within a Web Clip.
  13. I like the look of the IOS 10 update, however there are more issues than I would expect which is a great shame. A couple of frustrating ones I have are: 1. As soon as I opened a PDF attached to a 2019 note, it seemed to record a new updated date. Yet, when I look at note history it shows no changes, which is correct. Please only record a new updated date when there has been a change, not when attachments have been accessed. 2. I took a photo of a tiny notebook page and saved it as black and white. The note size was around 750kb. When I used Scanner pro for the same document the small jpg image size was 79k. I always end up using external scanning apps as Evernote creates such large image sizes for documents. Thanks for efforts in getting all the teething issues sorted out. Charles
