  1. Add me to the list of impacted users. Macbook Pro (16-inch, 2019) w/16GB RAM Evernote Helper (Renderer) instance shows ~125% CPU and has 6 out of 12 CPU cores very active, as well as causing the fan to run; closing the EN app or killing that one helper process fixes the CPU $ fan issues (and EN app doesn't seem to be affected by the stopped helper). UPDATE: I misstated / corrected my CPU cores.
  2. I switched from Microsoft OneNote for Mac because it couldn't disable sync and kept switching my virtual desktop every time - now I find EverNote does the same friggin' thing and can't be disabled!!! Unbelievable...🤯
