Just posted a new topic about the same issue. Search runs in the Legacy version which I am using also.

I am using version 10.45.18 on my M1 MBP running Monterey. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I select Notes and try to do a search for my husband's Italian last name and nothing comes up! He has over 500 notes and I can see the 3rd note in the his list of Notes is his last name but it doesn't come up in a search. It is not just his surname but other searches I have tried today are just not working. I am running the Legacy version also and the search function in it seems to be working just fine. Need some tips on using this new version... Thank you, Judy

When I either drag and drop or Import they are not displaying the note-I have to open the note up in Preview. What am I doing wrong?? Thank you for any help you give me...

Thank you, Pink Elephant. That's what I have done but unfortunately for the change to show up I have to quit Evernote and open it again, then the change appears. I have contacted Evernote and told them about this. Maybe it's a bug or it could be just me! Anyway, thank you everyone for the replies and help.

Thank you, bmcl26. Preview does the same thing but the end result once it is saved back in Evernote is not good. I am not sure what the difference would be between Preview and Adobe Acrobat Pro other than the cost. I would prefer to just use Preview for that reason but it seems like it doesn't integrate into Evernote. I will hope that someone can tell me how to get Preview and Evernote to work together. But I appreciate you posting a solution!

Hi-I am using 10.44.8 on my 2020 M1 MBP. In the past to delete a page from a note I would use the Annotate feature and delete it there. That doesn't work now. So I google searched and saw a post in the Evernote forum about opening it up in Preview and doing the deleting there and saving it back into Evernote. I did that and got this message... See screenshot. If I choose to Edit it in Evernote it displays correctly but it doesn't display correctly once I go back to note. What is the proper way to delete a page so that it does display correctly in Evernote? Thank you!

Yes, I do that but I would like a setting to ALWAYS open the whole note without additional clicking... Thank you, PinkElephant!

I thought of another question... I see some notes that display the image (I use Card view) sideways to the left of the actual note but it's correct on the note itself... See screenshot. Can this be fixed? Thanks again...

I need to import some rtf/rtfd files into Evernote. I get the message that that format doesn't import (or some such message). What is the solution for these files? Thank you!

Hi-I am using Evernote desktop on my M1 Mac running Big Sur and Evernote is 10.15.6.. My issue is that I have a 164 page document I want to put into Evernote but it's not working... I wouldn't think there would be a limitation in Evernote as to size of a file. Anyone have any idea of how to get this file into my Evernote. I am a Premium user if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help!

ForgetfulElephant... I totally agree. I just upgraded to the latest version and I still can't select multiple tags. PLEASE, EVERNOTE, PLEASE GIVE US THIS FUNCTIONALITY!!! Thank you, hope you are listening, Judy

I wholly and totally support what you said! I have thousands of tags and in the older versions of Evernote I wasn't able to use the multi-column editor. The issue was that I had too many tags and it just wouldn't open. Very, very, very, very frustrating. I have been a Premium user for many years and left Evernote for a long time and went to another app. I am back to Evernote on a very limited basis.

Oh, how I wish that there was the ability to delete multiple tags!!! I would love to be able to rename them. The HUGE issue I had with the older versions of Evernote was that I have a lot (gynormous!) number of tags and was not able to select Tags in the menu options and edit or delete them. HUGE issue for me. I went to another program because of this but am back to Evernote on a limited basis. The ability to do whatever needs to be done to Tags (renaming, deleting) needs a huge makeover.

Ha! Well, I do have tags, lots of tags. If I expand the tag list in the sidebar they show up. See screenshot. Well, heck, how did they become invisible?!?! I will think about doing what you suggested although it seems a bit drastic and time consuming. And the fact that it won't include my Local Notebooks or any unsync'd notes doesn't sound good. But something to ponder... Thanks, DTLow!

Here is a screenshot. I have typed in the note that I want to rename up in the search box. Nothing appears after I type it in. If I hit Return it takes me to the note. I don't want to see the note, I want to rename the tag. I see your screenshot. Haven't tried that... Duh. But I was able to do it the other way AND also view all my notes and I can't see them all anymore or I am not doing something right. The 2nd screenshot is when I have nothing in the search box but my all my tags don't come up.

Hi-I am running the latest version of High Sierra (10.13.4) and Evernote (7.2). I have seen this issue with tags for awhile now. I have 18,000+ notes. I am a paid user. It used to be that I would start typing in a tag name to rename it and the list would pull up (*see additional information). Not anymore. It used to be that if I didn't type anything into the tag search box, all my tags would be listed. Not anymore. I used to be able to see all my tags (when selecting Tags in the sidebar) and delete the ones with zero count. Not anymore. *In order to rename a tag I have to type it in (having selected Tags in the sidebar), it shows me (on the right) how many notes have that tag, nothing happens so I hit Return and it takes me to the notes that have that tag. So far not helpful. I then have to select Tags again in the sidebar and there is the tag that I wanted to rename! It used to be when I typed in a tag name, it would appear, I would correct the name and that would be that. Not anymore. Is it just me? Did something drastically change? Or??? I hope that someone can advise me. Thank you.
