No I have not opened a ticket, I do not find that to have ever been helpful with intermittent issues. Typically, I get the cut and paste try this try that response. I suspect that this is a known Mac issue, and likely with enough awareness they will take a look at it.

I am wondering if this is still an issue to other users. I have the same issue. Though in my case I can see the thumbnail view, but I cannot see the regular note view. The only way to correct the problem is to close evernote and relaunch it. This seems to work for about 4-5 days, then the same thing happens inevitably when I need to locate a note quickly or take a new one in a meeting. It only seems to happen on my Mac, I have not experienced it yet on my iPad. Is the correct solution, to revert back to an old release of evernote?
