  1. I I've just done some research and tests and I choose Apple Notes (I'm on Mac). Fastest way to move them over : https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-transfer-evernote-notes-to-apple-notes-2016-6#choose-a-file-name-and-location-to-save-your-notebook-3 That's a somewhat outdated article, because now Evernote saves the notes in a '.enex' file (still an XML file), and the good thing is that Apple Notes can read it and it imported my first 74 notes from 2010 without problems (they include PDFs and JPGs). So luckily this will will be a quick and painless move. Apple Notes doesn't have the tagging feature yet, so I have to find a solution for that. Update: another introduced limitation in Evernote is that you cannot select more than 50 notes at one time....
  2. Also in v10, multiple notebook windows / tabbed windows is gone, all my formatting is gone, it's using 100% CPU for hours, BUT they managed to implement Find & Change inside a note. Wow! That took some years. Now with 'multiple windows' gone and the 100% CPU and the same slowness as before, it is now become unusable for me. I've had it with Evernote. I'm going to move 10000 notes to something else. UNLESS ... they bring back the multiple notebook window feature back within a week. .... nah, a week is too long. I've already decided.
  3. Find & Replace within a note (Mac version) is really needed. The current 'Search' feature isn't really helpful, because with CMD-G, the found text is highlighted but not selected. The text cursor remains at the original position. Also you cannot see very well which piece of text is actually found, because the highlight-border looks the same on all selected texts. All-in-all does it look like a programmer started this, but never finished it.
  4. Come on Evernote, don't yawn and moan about a huge todo list, just add highlight colors. Then you'll have one item less from your huge todo-list.
  5. F&R would be handy, yes. But what disturbs me the most is that when doing an in-note find, the text is selected but not made current. So you can't do Find Next / Paste as a F&R alternative. The text cursor remains where it was and when you paste text, it's therefore inserted at the wrong position. The excuse is of course that it 'has to do with finding text in PDFs and images' but ... I am a IT guy and I know that they know if the current found/selected text is inside an attachment or not. So to simply add a few lines of extra code to really select the text with a Find(Next), shouldn't be that much of a problem.
