I don’t against any AI. But it is not good enough right now and you cut the original function is not a good idea. Specially in this situation of Evernote., keep losing old customers. 

The Search on 10.62.5 is extremely stupid.  In the past, it will show some related of search and also the notebook under the search field on the side bar.  But now, show nothing, and the result is the same as before.  But in the past, more than 60% chance can find what I want under the search field, better than the long list of notes.  Also the notebook result, It is the short cut to searching in my hundreds of notebooks.

The iOS app10.54.1 have a big problem in scanning the documents instead of PDF.  It saved in png format, no matter how I set.  What the problems?  One of the best function cut off from Evernote?

Try to contact CS, they can temporary increase your limit for reasons if they accept. 

You can use Ctl+Cmd+K to quick link to an internal notes.  It provide a selection search box for you.

Other hand, I am using the hot-key to copy the link of editing note. It made me more easy to paste it to other notes instead of copying from the 3 dots menu or right mouse button.

There is no built in function as you asked.  But there is a trick can be shared.

You can place some personal coding (tag) in your document, let say "##Section1##".  In this case, you can ctrl+F and type in ##Section1## in your note.  It will jump to the location you want.  But these symbol can only search within a note.  They cannot be searched in global (Don't know why EN is so stupid).

I found one of the reasons for my notes.

The notes are built by EN Sketch.  Don't know why the right of the note were keep by Sketch but not my EN account.

I re-installed Sketch and removed the notes within Sketch.

It is a very stupid bug I think.  Even Sketch (the build-in editor) itself also a joke in EN.  macOS Preview is much better than it.

I've been playing around with Obsidian and it's got a plugin called Dataview that can do this -- it's pretty cool.

UpNote and Obsidian will update the change of Title. Only EN don’t. 
I am not sure why they use AI to amend the note which editor write, but not do something really needed in workflow.

There is only choose between “select box” or “check box” for the whole Evernote. It is not enough for me.  Why no chooses to have both function?

The deleted line after checked the check box is needed. But the select box for pre-form in template os also very important. 

Hope can have auto update in the note title of internal note link. (Other apps already have)

Auto create new note when internal link pointed to a new note.

Also would like to have a search result list of titles, tags within the note.  Know that it already can be done in Home.  But there are limited amounts and also not same within the note, with some more details adding.  And this will be very useful for linking up the notes. 

And if there can be link to connect to Notebook, not only notes.

Suggested to use AI to find out similar and duplicates notes.

Because sometime the notes and attachments created in different time, but the context are very similar or duplicated with very minor different, with different title and in different note book.  It will be very difficult to found out.  And sometime updated one but left the others, it may cause some mistake when calling out data in future. 

I think this will be very useful if AI can find out those similars and let help to merge or managing by manual. 

Most of the attachments in notes cannot be loaded.

Most attachments in notes are old (Since 2008), but some new added notes missing too.

No matter how large of the attachments, after loading after times, it become 0 KB.  or nameless attachments, and lost.  Sometime can be restored in history, but sometime the history will be lost too.  Even re-upload the attachment, it still 0 kb (Cache I think).

The frequencies of losing are very high and no improve after updated.  Few can be loaded after EN restarted, but mostly are not. The losing mostly are 7 of 10.  Even all the note have only one 30 kb attachment, or note with text and things with attachments.

Bugs on using can be endured (more than 3 years), but losing of notes and attachments IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.  The promising is lost nothing when EN update to 10.  However, it become losing data, it cannot be tolerance.

No matter how high of the charge fee, you will get nothing if no customers.  Mr. PATERNALLO , please go to the forums or groups on social medias.  Most of the topics are not experience exchange in EN, but talking about moving out from EN to others apps.

I experienced similar before,  may be caused by opened another windows on the same notes.  The "Real-Time Sync" not really real time, it saved the other windows instead of the newest one.  I don't know why single user (not enterprise) need co-working real time sync for using myself only. This only make more mistakes & bugs in the software but not really useful.  In the other hand, most useful functions in old version are still missing in 10.  Stupid developing strategy.

Those are my own notes, not shared from someone else.

I found that some of my notes are in "Read Only" Mode. 

My EN is 10.59.5-mac-mas-public.

I checked this was an very old bugs in 2021 10.12.  But why this still in my EN?  

May I know how to unlock these notes?

I think the real time syncing still not stable.  I just added a photo on my phone, but the desk top keep syncing for more than an hour.

Do everything but no use. I think I need to rebuild the note.

Agreed, at least I would like to keep the completed task in notes, but don't want to see them in the open list.

This is a good idea too.

I hate this hot-key very much.  Because control-M was Merge in old version.  Experienced merged multi notes instead of move wrongly.  In new version it just call the option bar is better than before. 

In old version, it have a AI to put the mostly fitted notebook on the top of the list.  But this function lost in new version. 

My meaning is, you can use EN as a blank paper, create your own format, style to take notes.  No fix structure to say you "must" doing like this.

After 43 minor upgraded in Version 10, I came  back to EN10 from Legacy.  However, there is still many minor UX not good as Legacy.

And feel that EN no longer a note-taking apps,  but become a PIM. It is not good for me.  

EN was a very good note-taking, and the best is, it was a "blank paper".  It can be any note book for different purposes. EN specialized is "non-specialized". It saving any things when I seeing website or documents from computers or phone very easy.  Collect everything just simply click for later use. It is the concept of "Second Brain" they claimed.  But after EN10, it become a normal Task, todo, etc. No more improve on note taking, annotating or strengthen the function of "Second Brain". 

Very simple function still missing, e.g. image location in text. Directly open and link to a new note.  Better image annotation, stamps, etc.....

It what I am feeling now. No more special comparing to others. 

I am using macOS, the way is:

Open a browser.  I tried Safari, but it is not good (too good).  So I changed to Edge.

Drag the local file to the Url type place, it will be come a local route, file//..../....  

Than copy the Url Link of Local, go to EN, Open the Link by CMD+K, paste the link... That's all.

Situation on macOS: 

• Saved a file (e.g. Excel / LO Calc) in a note of Evernote.  Open the file directly from notes.
• Editing the file, and closed EN before the closed. (May be accidents)
• keep edit the file and save it.
• The file was not saved back to the note in EN., it only keep the save before EN closed.

This was not happen before.  (Not sure after 10, but not before 10).  Because ever click the close button, Evernote is not really close / Terminated and keep running in background.

But EN 10 now seem that it was really shut down when click the red close button at the upper-right conner.  And the temp folders of keeping file inside the note will change after re-open.  So when the file save, it will saved to the old temp folder link, but not the exiting one.  The files saved lost.

I think it is the practice of users.  But It should be a checked if there is file opened without closing before terminate the EN. It does by other app mostly.  But it will be very helpful if anyway to avoid this.
