  1. Sorry everyone, I totaly misread that thread, case of selective reading I guess :-). Anyway, looks like someone from evernote saw this and is checking things out. Thanks, Scott.....
  2. According to Post #9 in the thread that Owyn linked to a few post's back, it's a known problem and should be fixed after revision 259009. As of right now, I can kinda accomplish what I want by sending the note directly to the website instead of the windows client, but it doesn work all the time. To me it seems that after you clip a website to a note you should just be able to go in and add more stuff to it. Either way, evernote is still a great program and getting better all the time.... Thanks, Scott.....
  3. Yeah, the FF version allows you to add comments also. I've played with having the web clipper send the clip to the evernote website instead of the desktop client and it's helped on some sites. I'am looking forward to the next release to see if it fixes the problem altogether. Thanks, Scott....
  4. Thanks for the heads up, That'll be the first thing I try when the new version comes out. Thanks, Scott....
  5. Thanks for the info, I tried to merge 2 notes and the result was pretty much the same, all the info from the "new note" was all jumbled into the clipped note. I'am hoping a Dev notices this and can look into it. Thanks, Scott....
  6. Ok, I don't know if I am missing something or what, but I'am having a heck of a time adding anything to a note that I clip from a web page. I can use google as an example, I can go to google and hit the icon to clip the page, select full page, the clipped page will open in evernote, but I can't add anything before the clip or after the clip. Any text I try to add will either not show up at all or gets jumbled within the clip itself. So, is there a shortcut key or something that will add some blank lines to the top and bottom of the clip? If there is not, I would suggest that in a future update that whenever something is clipped from a web page that a few extra blank lines get put in the note before and after the clip is inserted. btw, I'am running Firefox 13.01 and the latest version of the web clipper. Any help would be greated appreciated. Thanks, Scott......
  7. Just installed and appears to be working great on my Acer Iconia a500 tab, but PLEASE, i beg of you, add a list view, the calendar view drives me batty.... Thanks and keep up the good work!!! Scott....
  8. Working great on my Acer Iconia Tab, looks good, but NEEDS a list view -- Don't like the big thumbnails. Grinch843....
  9. If we can't get the ability to store our notes on our devices, how about fixing up the HTML export feature so the output is easier to use??? Maybe an index by category and then an index of the notes? It's not perfect, but it's better then not being able to get to our notes at all. Grinch843......
  10. Hi, If we don't see a copy of the mobile version with a local database, how about at least a dressed up HTML export ability? Since I don't have a data plan on my smartphone(PocketPC) I found the HTML export feature in the windows client and exported my notes to an HTML file and just put that on my phone so I could at least view them, it's not pretty, but it works. If you could add links to the categories, then links to each note, I think that would probably be enough for most people to get by with. Thanks, Grinch843...
  11. Go into your profile settings for the forum your looking at and see if you can disable the display of the avatars. I ran into something like this awhile back where the avatars were causing problems when trying to cut/paste from a forum, disabling the display of avatars and signatures solved my problem. Good luck, Grinch843......
  12. Yup, thought of that. Would be worth looking into, but for right now I figure a simple Yes/No when closing a note would be much easier to implement. Grinch843......
  13. It's not so much the idea of losing data as it is saving changes you don't want. In the process of getting all my data setup in EN, I've worked with some of my notes where I made some changes then ended up deciding not to keep them and instead of remembering to keep hitting the undo button until I get back to where I started, I hit the X and ended up saving changes I didn't want. Having a simple way to save info is a great idea, but I think EN maybe a little to easy . Thanks Grinch843......
  14. How about adding an option we can turn on that would have EN ask if we want to save the current note when we close it instead of just automatically saving it? Thanks, Grinch843......
  15. The FULL client is a must!!! Having internet access isn't allways an option. I'd just like to be able to hook up my PPC to my computer and sync between them. Grinch843....
