I can’t answer that question but some updates have an annoying habit of changing my sort preference back to relevance.  If I do a search and it doesn’t find what I think it should, the first thing I now check is to see if this setting has changed.

No, and you will not lose them from your account.  If you downgrade to free, you will still be able to access them to read and edit but not add more if you have more than 50 notes in your account and more than one notebook.

Ok.  There is no compare script available that I'm aware of.

To confirm exactly what is in your account, use the web app.  You may be able to compare notes there with those in your desktop app to see which may have problems.  Good luck.

There were several versions floating around and personally I haven't seen the final one that was shown in the video, but I think what they have settled on will work for me.  What they didn't mention is that the iPad home screen is back to being the same as desktop, at least for me, so the changes they are showing appear to be only for the phone.

If you know about when syncing stopped, as a thought, how about sorting by creation date?  Move those in the date range of interest into a new notebook and then export that notebook.

Yes, if you have unsynced content you will lose it.  Export anything that hasn’t been synced to enex files.  Then when you have a new installation import those files back in.

Sounds like a bad update.  Have you tried an uninstall using Appcleaner and then a reinstall from the Evernote website?

Uninstall using Appcleaner.  That works better than the standard uninstaller and then download directly from the Evernote site and reinstall.

I'm using 7.2 L60.  Snapscan manager does save to a file first.  You can set whether in pdf or jpg format and there is an option to rename the file after scanning.  I find that a little easier than renaming in Evernote, and I also don't mind having a backup file saved outside of Evernote.

I also use the OS screen grab but I do miss the old Evernote option to easily either direct the clip to a note or to the clipboard.  

I think we may be splitting hairs.

The question was can Scansnap manager still be used, and the answer is, yes, it can, and @justacat can tell us what they mean by direct.  I took it to mean without going through a cloud app.

That is incorrect.  It is possible as long as one is willing to use Scansnap manager.
