I am also having this issue, and it is absurdly annoying—I am just about ready to try another similar app just so I am able to actually look at the words I’m typing. Also, the New Note tab at the bottom of the screen pushing you to explore the app and use different note types takes up half of the screen, and can not be exited out of. Extremely inconvenient, and again, very annoying. Users don’t like to be forced into specific uses of the app, they want options, which necessitate the ability to opt out (just a small x in the corner to say a simple, “No thank you.”)
