That thing has its own utility. But sometimes there is this one note inside the notebook which need to be in top (say pinned) all the time. For a example, Notebook 'Economics 101' has many notes in it. One particular note is about 'Syllabus and Timeline' which need to be in top irrespective of how the other notes are sorted (by name or date). You want it in top and also want other notes to be sorted on the latest update basis. In this case, pinning the note comes handy. Many messaging Apps has this feature. Like in Telegram, you have an option of folders for different chats (Evernote: Notebook for different notes), you can pin particular chat(s) in particular folder (Evernote: pin particular Note(s) in particular Notebook if feature implemented).

Yes. It can be created by adding "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote\Evernote.exe <Note Link>" in Target section of Windows' Shortcut.

In earlier version of Evernote (i.e. Evernote Legacy), we were allowed to add shortcut for Note/Notebook/Tag by creating a shortcut in Dekstop or any directory and putting the location of that Note/Notebook/Tag. Say in case of notebook it was something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\Evernote\ENScript.exe" showNotes /q "notebook:NotebookName" How to do this in new Evernote? Is there any way?

It would be great to have 'Add to Home Screen' option for the notes, search filter etc. like it use to have in older version of Android.

A error has been showing while adding a link of local file/folder in Evernote 10.4. I am not able to click the Apply button as its not clickable. Is there any other way to do this?

Having a reminder for complete note is like treating a note as an individual task while a note itself can have list of tasks which further can be put as reminder individually. It would be great to have an inline reminder feature along with present reminder system.

But the problem with it is it removes all the formatting you have already made in note text like Font color, bold, italic etc. except highlight. What it should do is to just change the font family.

I too use this feature (sorted tags) extensively. It's quite useful and important to me. Idea upvoted!

I have highlighted this thing multiple time at both beta program and support, but they didn't improve such simple and important thing. A PDF file having portrait mode (say A4 size page) can't be viewed properly with horizontal navigation arrows. Moreover, it is not a good idea to make PDF file with large number of pages to view as All Pages. Previous PDF viewer was good at least if not best. A better replacement can be PDF.js for PDF viewer, yet they made feature less PDF viewer as default option. Evernote team must work on it to make feature rich else there is no use of putting PDF files in notes. Same issue in Windows forum:
