  1. Hi Evernote, Please fix the formatting on the bullet points. They've been broken since I started using Evernote and it is the single most significant reason I don't use Evernote more often. I actually would stop using it, but I need something with the searchability and offline mode for my comprehensive exams. My most recent problem: - I was trying the new editor and changed the font of one of my notes. - A new line was added in between every single one of my bullet points that I then had to delete manually - I then decided I didn't like the new editor because support for combining Unicode characters I need was limited and the UI was not easy to transition to immediately. - I went back to the old editor and found my note using a font I didn't like and that looks nothing like the font I chose in the new editor. I selected all and switched to a different font. - Every. Single. Bullet. Indentation. Disappeared. I just lost about an hour's worth of work just to reformat a note that I shouldn't need to revisit when I don't have the time to be dealing with this nonsense. This is not acceptable. Other problems I've had: - Bullet points are constantly disappearing when I try to reformat the indentation in the middle of what has previously been written. - Copy-pasting to other platforms isn't reliable because Evernote's formatting code is so unreliable that the other platforms produce complete nonsense with respect to the indentation. Unrelated problems I've had: - Why do I have to submit a bug report on a forum that is—I don't care what is "officially" promised—only moderately monitored at best? It's completely inconsiderate of the user base you have that you can only directly email support if you're paying for the site. I want to like Evernote, I really do, but I'm starting to have the same problem with it that I had with Memrise: it looks shiny and should be really great, but the programmers are more interested in building new shiny things they like than in creating a reliable product that meets the needs of the users. I'll probably stop using Evernote soon, unless I see any indication that it becomes an even remotely functional word processor. There are too many other platforms that do what I need from Evernote.
