  1. I tried this, also did not work Here's the search I tried. "No notes found" When there clearly notes created in that range created:20240325-created:20240327
  2. Had the same problem. On Windows, I did ctrl-shift-R to reset Evernote. That made the message go away (and hopefully the underlying issue as well).
  3. Same problem. On Samsung Galaxy 23 I emailed Evernote support about it. It took a few days to even get a reply. "Thanks a lot for your feedback, we’ve passed it on to our developers for further investigation. We'll make sure to get back to you once we have an update. " A workaround I'm currently using: On my PC, I create a bunch of new (empty) notes. Then I can add information to them from my phone. Unfortunately, this problem (not being able to create a new note on my phone) is preventing me from doing any web clipping, or "sharing" files to Evernote. Such a drag!!!
  4. Had the same problem Restarted my iPad and the cursor was visible again
  5. Exact same issue. I want to be able to copy and paste a combination of text & images into Microsoft Word, and also Google docs. This is so BASIC - copy and paste!! PS interestingly, I can copy text & images from Word into Evernote. So Word can get it done, Evernote can't...
  6. I would also love to see Spaces in Premium accounts. A friend of mine who has Spaced gave me a tour, and it definitely adds improvements to the organization of notes in Evernote. As said above I want more control over grouping notebooks than just stacks. I'd love to have pinned notes for each "space" (sorely lacking in current Notebooks) the visual layout of the Spaces Dashboard would be terrific. (much better than the current Evernote homepage)
  7. @PinkElephant Note that in Windows, moving a file or changing the file name does not change the modified date. Ditto in Dropbox. This is a pretty standard convention. @EN: It is a design fail to change the modified date when changing tags, moving a note to a new notebooks, changing the note title.
  8. @EN: It is a design fail to change the modified date when changing tags, moving a note to a new notebooks, changing the note title. Note that in Windows, moving a file or changing the file name does not change the modified date. Only changing the content should result in a update to the modification date.
  9. The problem with the recommended solution: When you move a note to an new notebook, the modified date of the note changes to the current date. So when you drag all of the notes from one notebook to another, all of the dates of the notes change. That's exactly what I don't want - to lose the chronology of the notes. Which I why I would want a merge function. To not lose the dates of the notes.
  10. EVERNOTE: Please bring back the sync button - and ideally add a progress indicator. So often, on PC and Android, I can't tell if syncing is happening... I exit and re-enter the app to try to force syncing... and syncing can take 10 minutes for a 1-sentence note (which is unacceptable - Google Keep syncs instantly)
  11. My issue is that syncing can take a long time. Even syncing a one-sentence note can take up to 10 minutes on Android, 5-10 minutes on PC. SOLUTION: It would be great if there were a sync button (there use to be one), and a progress indicator
  12. I have the same exact problem. Not seeing any solutions in the forums.
  13. I use Evernote on a daily basis, it's an essential part of my work process. But I am sick and tired of performance issues slowing me down when I just want to insert ideas into notes as quickly as possible, on my mobile phone. Often I find myself grappling with slow performance and bugs to merely save a one sentence note. I have the latest, top of the line model Samsung phone, so it's not a problem with processing speed. Other major apps I use (Spotify, Chrome, etc) are responsive and bug-free. Here's what I see on a daily basis on Evernote Android: it is painfully slow both to open the app and load notes (even a one sentence note) it takes forever to save a note of any length (again, even a one sentence note) often it refuses to save my note at all. I have lost huge chunks of work before because the app has failed to save it. notes are often lost, because it takes so long to save it can take 10 minutes to sync a simple note using image capture Evernote can take a long time did I mention how slow it is now? I am so sick of this. These issues drastically hinder my work, my writing and capturing of ideas, and even capturing a one-sentence to do item. I used to love this app, now I dread using it (especially on my phone), because I don't know if something will even save. When something is mission critical, I now use Google Keep. It is bulletproof. Evernote team -- please, please, please prioritize bug fixes and performance over any new features!!!
  14. I'm frequently having difficulty saving notes on Evernote for Android. I click the green check mark, but the note won't save. Then I lose everything I just entered. It seems if I set my phone down for 5 minutes and don't do anything, it will eventually save. There's something really wrong going on with Evernote.
  15. I have this problem frequently on Evernote for Android. I press the green check mark to save the note, and nothing happens.
  16. I echo many of the comments above. I don't like the font and line spacing of the next version (March 2021 on Windows PC). And the line spacing puts much less text on the page. Additionally, the font color is too light, it's a medium grey, I would prefer black for readability. I also vote for an option to change the default font and line spacing, and ideally font color
  17. Fully agree. It's a big reason why I use Notion and Google Docs much of the time.
  18. I use the "intitle:" search operator a thousand times a day to find notes with a certain word or phrase in the title. It's one of my most used features in Evernote, it's bread and butter. I wish there was a button in the menu bar (or somewhere else in the UI), so I could get to this with one click.
  19. Yes! I use intitle all the time, and I would love to see a button in the button bar for this. What other software requires you to type the name of a frequently used feature? The problem is, sometimes I spell it wrong, leave out the :, etc etc. Too much friction.
  20. I would like to see a spellcheck function like that in Microsoft Word. Right now, with Evernote you have to manually scroll through a note, look for items underlined in red, click on them, make a correction, then scroll to the next one. It is so much more efficient to do this in Microsoft Word. In fact, I would just copy notes to Word and spellcheck over there, but this tends to destroy the formatting, especially bullet points. Spellcheck is one of the things I most commonly do in Evernote, and unfortunately the functionality available now is quite inadequate. PS I would like to see this on all Evernote platforms, but I'm only able to post this in the Evernote Web forum. I mostly use Evernote for PC and for iPad.
  21. I second this request. Definitely want to see a Spell Check function that works like Microsoft Word. There's a suggestion about copying a note and then spellchecking it in Word, but I've found that the formatting gets too disrupted going from Evernote to Word and back
