I have the Legacy app installed on my Mac, along with a full copy of my data   
My data is fully backed up using Evernote's export feature and HTML option
There is no "disappear" and no "gone forever" - that's a fact

It's good to know there is a good way to back one's notes up. Would you please clarify something for me? Are you backing up your entire collection of notes at once? If so, is that a long process?
