Have Tags automatically add to a note when keywords in note match tags. If the note has "Johnny ran and picked apples" Tag: apples The tag should automatically be applied. This would with PDFs and Images if the OCR matches a tag.

Each time a PDF is imported into Evernote on the specific PDF one has to select View as an Attachment, or All Pages. This should be a preference.

There should be ability to pin a note and when look in the interface listing of notes, this note should appear at the top, regardless of date, title, etc. sort criteria.
