Ah ha... thanks! Is that noted anywhere in documentation? From what I recall reading, the current docs say to look for the tag entry at the TOP of the note.

I'm using Chrome on Mac and it seems I'm missing key options at the top of the note. For instance, I don't seem to have any option to add a tag. Thanks in advance for your help

I have EN installed on both my Macbook Pro and my new Windows desktop. It's working fine on my Windows desktop, but I end up with frequent temporary hangs when searching on my MBP (e.g., beachball for 15 seconds). Is there any way to optimize/refresh my EN database on my Mac or would I need to fully uninstall/reinstall the software? Thanks!

What frustrates me is that Evernote continues to be the only problematic app on my computer. Lightroom, OneNote, other resource-intense programs chug along seamlessly. Heck, even Chrome -- which until recently would sometimes freeze up when I had a huge number of tabs open -- has become well-behaved and reliable. So, Evernote, you're the last hold-out. Thanks! One thing I found that really helps is rebooting my computer every few days instead of, say, once or twice a month. Again, that shouldn't really be required (other programs seem to do fine in general, or at least after simply being closed and re-opened). But it is a workaround.

I have a pretty beefy Windows 10 box... 12gb memory, reasonably fast processor, etc. Pretty much everything runs smoothly... except Evernote :(. It loads quickly and I have no problem editing notes. However, searching is very problematic! When I start typing in the search box, Evernote can freeze up for 10+ seconds. And even more often, there are multi-second delays after typing each letter. D'oh! I've spent nearly an hour hunched over my desktop and my laptop, trying to figure out why none of the SMS' sent to me have worked; I get "The code you entered is not valid."
