  1. I guess this is a feature and not a bug? (Legacy version is the same) Why do the bullet points not increase/decrease proportionally with changes to font size? Not sure where else to report this--maybe a feature request?
  2. To preface, I have already submitted this feedback on the official feedback page. Here are the UI changes that I find most frustrating: The "monochrome" look. Lacks separation of elements onscreen--visual clarity has decreased. When hitting "return" after typing some text, there is now extra space between lines that did not use to exist (or at least the extra space was less). Why can't there be user-defined spacing options? Bullet points--the overall size of the bullet points has been decreased to the point of tier-two bullet points looking nearly identical to tier-one. If you increase the font size enough, you can see that it's supposed to be a circle with white space. It looks like a solid dot. I gernally like version 10. It needs more font choices, and it'd be worth the price increase if Presentation Mode was restored, but the new UI feels like a giant leap backward in usability. As I am typing in the user forums, the text is clean and very readable. Why does the desktop app look worse? The changes are so unappealing.
  3. Why, for the love of all that is good, did the bullet points change?!?!?!?!??!? All the bullet points are now the same color but a different size. This is driving me insane. The new UI has zero differentiation of interface elements. Old Bullet points Even on the user forums, the old style is still there. I can deal with a lot of the other changes, but this new UI design makes the program borderline unusable.
  4. To do so, the following features from the legacy version should be restored: Number of fonts: there are many fonts that are completely cross-platform. Why are we limited to 6 choices?! What are not all common fonts available? Even Google Docs has better font choices! Presentation mode--this was the killer feature of the Legacy App. No one else has it. It is mind-boggling why this has not been restored. fix spacing: why are there suddenly extra spaces between lines of text all over the place? Bring back visual customization for the user. The new UI looks terrible and makes focusing on the task at hand more difficult. Speed Collaboration tools? Fine. Collaboration at the expense of the individual experience? It makes the entire program less valuable. The entire user experience is getting worse and worse. Sadly, there is no 1-for-1 replacement of Evernote. Of course at the rate Bending Spoons is dismantling Evernote, Evernote won't be Evernote either.
  5. Thanks for sharing the feedback link. I will definitely submit feedback. You are spot on regarding your comments about the dark sidebar/white note. This echos my immediate thoughts on seeing the new UI--the lack of contrast actually makes the page look more cluttered and visually indistinct.
  6. Got surprised with the new UI design today. Two questions-- 1) how do I install a version of Evernote that does not have the awful changes? 2) Baring that, is there an option to change the background color of notes to light/white while in Dark Mode (Mac OS)? The UI change is horrendous. The dark sidebar with white pages in notes allows for better focus on the task at hand. Now that everything is either all light-mode or all dark-mode, the UI has taken a major downgrade in visual usability. And there are no options to make adjustments?! Incredibly frustrating.
  7. Presentation Mode is the "killer feature" that no other note taking app has. It's the reason I paid for Evernote in the first place. Now that Evernote 10 is M1 optimized (my goodness it's fast!) the only reason I need to use the Legacy version is for presentation mode.
