  1. So, is this the direct calendar from Evernote themselves that Frederico recently mentioned on his blog post was in development? It must be available to a select few on a random basis, I'm on 10.82.2 on Mac and don't see it.
  2. I'm not a user of the Android app, but I upgraded the iOS app to 10.80.0 this morning and on reopening just went "wow" It was listed as a performance upgrade by dang, they've been applying some secret sauce, every note selected or .pdf opened and it was "bang" nearly instant. I've never seen V10 work so well on the iPhone since it came out. Fair play to BS, they seem to have really kicked it up a gear with this release.
  3. I'd say that's more than likely the cause. Has happened me before, thankfully only with 100 test notes.
  4. Look to Evernotes own blog post 29.12.23 We preemptively reset vulnerable passwords with an automatic password reset for accounts that didn’t have two-factor authentication. These accounts were particularly vulnerable to attacks through a weak or reused password. Affected users were then prompted to update their password the next time they opened Evernote. And again, I highly recommend setting up two-factor authentication! Could this be your issue?
  5. Yes, I've found the import is now working correctly to Apple Notes since upgrading to Sonoma 14.2 My problem now is running out of iPhone storage when I input my Evernote files into Notes via iCloud. I' told Apple actively manages what files are downloaded locally to notes, but I can't find how this works in practice.
  6. Just installed and I'm finding a bug introduced in Tasks. On the home screen, recurring tasks are showing greyed out with a warning triangle adjacent to the checkbox. When you click on the entry it pops up a warning "Content not supported" This content depends on a feature not supported in this version of Evernote. You can check periodically to see if there is an update available."
  7. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that this is simply a mistake and the wrong figure has been applied. Its quite common to put placeholder values into code when testing, perhaps someone simply applied this on the live instead of test environment.
  8. Craft takes a different approach and sets out the images for you using a "best fit" algorithim. It can be entertaining trying to reposiiton them to your preferred option.
  9. March 2008 😬- Just shy of 15yrs. I suspect I was using Evernote a bit earlier than this, as I've some screenshots somewhere of the first iteration with the continuous date ribbon. Edit: Just found original invoice (in Evernote of course), for Evernote portable 2.2 dated November 2007 for the princely sum of £19.95, on the windows mobile platform. Anyone else remember running this on the Compaq iPaq?
  10. I've been seeing something similiar with recurring tasks, although more of a variation on a theme. When I action a recurring task on iOS or Android it will revert to showing the date the recuring task was created task event which may have been several months previous. It's doing this for me on on both android and iOS devices. The desktop client and web client are showing correctly.
  11. Be aware that Microsoft have withdrawn the OneNote importer so the options for getting your notes out of Evernote and into OneNote have greatly reduced.
  12. The issue may occur if the import folder is a OneDrive folder (or other cloud service), on the computer. In this configuration, if the files are viewed in file manager, or are synced on another device, they become "updated" on the local folder and EN then considers these to be new files and reimports them from the import folder. I now ensure that the EN import folder is only referencing a unique local folder on the computer drive.
  13. There is a workaround, click on the earliest year shown, 2014, it then drops you back into the note detail box. Click on the date modifier again and it will show you 9 years earlier from 2014, select again, rinse and repeat. It's a poor substitiute for a slider scroll, but it works in a pinch if you've only a few entries to edit in this way.
  14. It's a problem for many of us, myself included, and has been raised here a few times in the recent past. At present the work around is to create a blank note, set to the desired font then save it as a template file. Instead of then creating a new file, you create a new from template. It's not pretty, and its not the functionality that you would desire, but its whats available at the moment I'm afraid.
  15. Works fine for me in the pc version. Right click on the .pdf within your Evernote note and select open from the right click menu. It will then either open in your browser or in Adobe Acrobat dependent on what windows system defaults you have. From there you can highlight the text and copy and paste to your hearts content. In your screnshot you're editing the pdf in the "skitch" viewer. Can't say I've ever found it to be particularly useful.
  16. I didn't even know this resource existed. I had to go and have a look. Very disappointing, its an app graveyard. Even those still available, the links, screenshots etc are postively ancient. I'd think if its not being maintained, Evernote would be better off retiring the page.
  17. The Calendar widget at present only displays Google Calendar events from your attached google account. Fair enough. I know EN are working on Outlook calendar integration and this will be welcomed by many. My thoughts however, are that it would be a useful improvement if the widget were to show notes that were created on any specific day. It would be most useful for those who use EN for journalling, but also useful for those of us who may not recall what folder or tag we put on a note, but recall vividly we made the note last Monday. Scroll back on the widget and voila! I know we can create date searches and range searches within EN and save these accordingly, but it just seems that the calendar widget is under utilised for the functionality it could posess. Anyone else thing this is a good idea, perhaps you'd like to vote up the topic if it has some traction?
  18. Exactly the same scenario for me. My corporate IT are blocking EN, but unware of NN at present. That said, I know that someday, and likely very soon they'll twig and NN will be blocked as well. Their locking down of the systems becomes more stringent by the day. For this reason I'm reluctant to invest too much time and information into NN. I'm resigned to the fact that I'm going to have to work within the IT silo and simply maintain my own personal system with no work access. What I use and how it will work I'm still actively pondering.
  19. You advise that you are "all apple" Would apple Notes not serve you better? It would seem from those in the Apple Ecosystem that Apple Notes has really come on leaps and bounds since the changes ushered in with iOS15. If iCloud web access wasn't so poor on the web (Windows 11 user) I'd be considering it as an option.
  20. You might want to take a look at Nimbus Note as an alternative. They advertise being able to use individual notes as a web portal page. I have no need of it, so don't know how it works or how robust it might be, but might be worth investigating if it serves your needs better.
  21. Evernote does not have a calendar. The calendar view is simply a carbon copy of your Google calendar account and cannot be edited through Evernote, it is purely read only. The extent of interaction is Evernote faciltating a calendar token heading in a new note based on the calendar information.
