I can confirm that this - reinstalling - was needed on my devices too after installation of 10.14 and 10.15 again - maybe this was the time gap with your installations too (each updated version of EN). There is seriously something going the wrong direction. I therefore decided to once again dismiss EN10 from all devices as I need reliable access to my information on the go - using 8.13.3 since than happily.
  2. It shows you are trying to install an older version. The latest running legacy is 8.13.3. This version is as lightening fast as the competing apps around - not that sluggish as what Evernote has been shipping for over 8 month since 10.X as their idea of a new modern product. You can revert and install manually by downloading the last stable (legacy) version 8.13.3 from an archive link Evernote support offered to another user (see below). After a complete sync uninstall. Restart your device, deactivate automatic updates on play store (important). Last step is to manually install the apk (you will have to allow this on android if asked). If you keep the old APK in your downloads you can easily try out new versions later and - if necessary - roll back again if the bugs still haven't gone. http://evernote.s3.amazonaws.com/android/google-play/com.evernote.google-play.8.13.3.1083330.allArch.6087.apk
  3. Yesterday late evening here in Germany (office times at EN) as I wrote chat gave it to technical support, waiting for answer.
  4. I want to requote. The akamai outage was around july 22th. Our access lists point on mysterious access on august 16th. For me explanation is still to come (from Evernote).
  5. Thank you @gazumped! That could explain false listings in access list but the news is from july 22? Support agent did not know and transfered my question to technical support. Let's see. Maybe changing password and resetting 2FA could be a good measure anyway.
  6. I just checked my access list as well and get the same IPs pointing to New York and Texas US (Akamai...). Definitely never left germany the last months. All on august 16th as well. I am going to contact support chat. If not a security breach then there is really something wrong with their access list... Could other forum members check as well? Thank you.
  7. This should work perfectly with 2FA. I use this that way on several devices. Did you try a clean install (delete failing EN10, reboot, reinstall working EN8.13.3)
  8. Update on 10.15: I had the exact same issue again right after update. Had again to clear all offline notebooks... second time not so well done EN! Clearing cache and all app data resolves the issue.
  9. Just an update to this thread: new EN 10.15: tested on two devices = no change. Bug still persistent there. In the change log they only concentrate on new features (task improvements). Not being able to see the images captured via Evernote is the show stopper before all enhancements they made 😞 I would really like to see some new words from @Shane D.that there is any work on this going on. We have this bug since 10.0.
  10. Since last info from @Shane D. was 4 months ago and we are already on 10.14 I have just talked to support again, if they could tell when this issue will be resolved. They still confirm the bug. But unfortunately they still have no date on when an update for this issue will be available. 😞 I wonder how this issue of just rendering images correctly could not be fixed in 8 months since 10.0. Am I the only one who is using more than plain text in notes? 😉
  11. To join in here: I replaced the background image with a monochrome dark greyish image i produced with irfan view (attached here). It is ok viewed in light and dark mode and you get at least rid of - for some of us - disturbing background image. Would love to see an option to chose monochrome background right away in the app. And I gave a +1 vote to option to remove greeting and date. On normal days I remember my name and time of date 😉
  12. Had that too on all devices one after the other, having to clear all data and sign-in again. Listening to the play store comments since 10.14 this seems to be a bug with this version. Don't like the idea to experience this bug on the go with lost access to all offline content. Those bugs should be stopped in prior testing.
  13. I knew you would immediately comment and negate the posting. Well, starting with sunday is in fact no real bug. It is a feature request to handle it the same on all clients. This by the way is something that is done correctly on Android - the very first time Android client was better than windows 🤣 I could not get anything in the forum via search so if you could refer to a thread, this could be deleted. Don't want to double post.

When firing the date picker let's say to assign a due date of tasks on EN 10.18 win it shows first day of the week: sunday - which is wrong regarding my windows system settings (should be monday here in germany). With the same account on EN Android it is correct: monday! Is it a bug or a missing feature? Anyway, please get it right. Thank you
  15. Same here, will definitely not renew without an EN10 working in real life on everyday devices. Hopefully EN8.13.3 will go on working even on Android 12.
  16. These are the exact settings to prevent auto updating! I set it the same way, it works. I skip every 2-3 releases of EN10 and then give it a try again...but sadly everytime after 1-2 days the frustration gets too big, as you cannot get anything done (slow, screens flipping, offline not downloaded) with 10.14 I ran into issues that after 2 days EN stopped working completely on all my devices within 2 hours one after the other (could not be started anymore, immediate closing). Obviously it is all messed up, client / cloud. I wonder that support is even answering me as I am reporting bugs daily... it is a shame, that even after 8 months Evernote is a big joke on Android. Rolled back to EN8.13.3. New features are not worth trying, if you use Android devices - you are locked out. And please stop praying against Android. Evernote is the very only company that fails to address this eco system!
  17. I used EN Android 10.14. Prior versions were buggy. Please try to update.
  18. Update EN 10.14: no change, images (embedded) not shown occasionally appears... failing since 10.0 😔 (it says (translated from german localization): "press/click to load attachment", if pressed nothing happens)
  19. Update 10.14: I just tested the "document" scanning with a bunch of papers, combinations, with rotation, without, one paper, multiple and so on. It seems that indexing as well as thumbnailing of scanned "documents" now works as expected. Thank you, Evernote! I will monitor if the bug returns inlater versions 😉 Can anyone confirm it is resolved as well on another device so this thread could be marked as solved?
  20. I can confirm this. I would expect it to be sorted alphanumeric plus maybe having some recent used notebooks as suggestion on top, no magic. Did feedback on this via the app feedback. Maybe other users could add their vote via the app feedback, too.
  21. Voted this up, as I am doing the exact same (record in another app for stereo). Audio quality in EN10 has increased, would be nice if stereo was supported (on capable devices).

  23. I think you did not read the last posts thoroughly, but keep repeating it is a loading problem.... Your speaking about other users is presumptuous. I do not get the motivation.
  24. I don't know what you experienced on iOS but on Android it is about 2.5 years since evolution of EN 8.13.3 ended (and EN never touched it again) because EN went to develope the new EN10. It Is hard to realize for me too, but after this loooong period of developement we are still offered a software that would normally rather be considered to be published as beta.
  25. As I wrote the note is locked and cannot be edited while waiting exactly the 15 seconds as before. The only different is showing the green circle at the exact position of prior "write protected". @PinkElephant I am tired of defending every new posting here. Support informed us, they did advances to "reduce" this problem (did not say it is gone). You can read it in this thread. I just wanted to confirm that is not gone on my devices. Maybe forums admins are more interested.
