  1. You could use uptodown.com to get older versions. I did. Prior installing you can compare the used signing keys old vs. actual Evernote version to proof nothing is tampered.
  2. Hi, very helpful the video to understand the gui problem. I just tested it with some large notes in my account and I could confirm the bug immediately. It is clearly a bug with the editor that does not maintain focus at the correct position while braking the lines in a new order when resizing the window. Tested EN10.25.6 Windows and web client - both are affected. @Milincho: Please do not accept refusal by first level support. If you send them the video devs can dive into the bug. Thanks for pointing out
  3. Thank you, I am on beta channel too but did not get that information. Sounds promising, finger crossed.
  4. Hi @matej1990, can you tell from what source this is quoted. Thank you.
  5. Sorry but 10.21 does not offer anything to us in terms of performance, usability. I have somehow given up hope that Evernote has any clue how to address the performance problem.
  6. Unfortunately I can confirm the bug being still present with 10.25.6 on my installation as well. Very disappointing. Can only suggest rolling back to 10.20.x. For what I know this was the last version before they implemented the bug.
  7. Exactly, that's why I just use it is a batch exporting tool only (bearing in mind now tasks are lost that way in backup). I can live with that due to minimal task use in EN10 today.
  8. Ohhhh....I did some testing with exporting and reimporting via EN legacy...and fellows beware: when exporting via EN legacy none of your tasks are saved to the ENEX it is all lost. If you use task in a way they should be exported/backed up EN legacy is no no good for this anymore...so sad Evernote did not add some adequate as the CTRL+SHIFT+E all-in export in EN 10... 😞 By the way: if you export via EN10 to ENEX the tasks are preserved with due date, but due time is lost as well. Tasks implementation still seems rudimentary. On the losing of due time when exporting I contacted support. They could reproduce and escalated the issue to tech support (at least he said so).
  9. Sorry, this is not correct. In EN Win legacy you can sign off and on your sign on screen you can press CTRL+SHIFT+E. You get a prompt to choose the account to be exported, ok and voilà: you get a folder on your desktop with the actual date and an individual ENEX-file per notebook in your account totally automatically. It is my #1 use case for still keeping legacy on my machine. So nice and fast 🙂
  10. Yes it is weird that you always have to enter edit mode to simply save any content. Not very intuitive UX.
  11. Yes, this is a totally weird behaviour since EN 10. It plays through a queue of former changes instead of just syncing the stuff which is actual right in that moment. That queue, if long, lasts forever on Android.
  12. Thanks for the additional link. Exactly, trustworthy encrypting is generally gained by making the implementation code available for public review. But since EN just is a note taking app.... I think nobody would ever come to the idea to store really sensitive data on Evernote, so I would not expect that nor mind that at all 😉
  13. Exactly, I never tried before and had no clue. I was just surprised over the rudimentary implementation. But in the end it does not matter to me since closed source encryption is not the way to go when it comes to real confidential data 😉 So I will probably never use it. Thanks again for confirmation!
  14. I noticed this as well when trying this feature out for the first time with EN10 (never used it before)... I was surprised they don't support even simplest formatting or links in encrypted area - but you confirmed. Thanks.
  15. +1 I am suffering of the exact same issues on two Samsung devices. EN10 is the exact only app I am using struggling to come to any speed whereas every other software works pretty fluent. After EN for 11 months out there nothing but limited/unsufficient resources in dev can explain such a shameful state of the app. Oh man, the green elephant does not deserve this degree of neglect 😔
  16. You can still get this problem also with 10.20 if you are using a bigger screen device, e.g. a tablet. To prevent the swipe-to-return feature when horizontally scrolling in tables on a tablet you can switch the note to full-screen view (collapsing the left menu). In full screen mode horizontally scrolling through tables works fine (for me). Smartphone screen devices: no problems since 10.20 indeed.
  17. +1 That could really open eyes to eventually direct the ever missing sufficient resources to Android dev team.
  18. +1 , otherwise we would not still have that extremely sluggish EN10 app on Android after 11 months... It is just a means of directing the resources. EN decided to prioritise features way before bugs or performance. 😒
  19. With EN legacy for windows it can be really simple to get a full backup with an ENEX-per-notebook structure 1. Sync everything 2. Sign out 3. On sign-on screen press CTRL+SHIFT+E, confirm the account to be backed up and EN legacy will create a folder on your desktop with an ENEX-file per notebook - totally automatic process. It makes my day every time backing up 🙂 For this feature, EN legacy is definitely superior. All export options of EN10 are to neglect against that.
  20. Made the mistake and installed new 10.24.3 for windows today... disk burning still occurs 😞 Rolling back to 10.20.4 (deinstall 10.23.4 / install 10.20.4 - without erasing database folders) stopped disk burning again. Note: obviously no deleting of user data necessary for roll-back.
  21. I still think it is a bug. Otherwise they could have already deactivated such implementation within one of the last updates. Even EN staff cannot consider this a feature 😆
  22. Hi @matej1990! I just tested the described issue and can confirm it for my Android devices on 10.19 as well. I cannot open an image which is embedded as attachment by just clicking on it as you described. Clearly a simple bug as converting to imbedded image instantly shows the picture. Has to be fixed.
  23. Almost, it was sufficient to deinstall via windows app menu and manually delete data folders of evernote (users/appdata/roaming...) prior installing the elder version of EN10.
  24. I rolled back to Evernote for Windows 10.20.4 and this version does not yet seem to be affected by the disk burning bug. Interestingly this version says, it is the latest available version 🙂 (Meanwhile EN even stopped rolling out the last update(s) because of some bugs (file type related officially).
  25. With Pro you can even connect up to 5 different Google accounts. So the setup of @Swaveshould work if on the correct subscription. For connecting multiple calenders of one Google account the Personal subscription is sufficient. Tested both plans some weeks ago with that although not using Google calendar 😉
