  1. Do you still get AI cleanup anywhere? I wanted to give it a try after while again but cannot find it. I see only the "KI-Bearbeitung" button at the far right as in your screen shot. Wonder if they dropped it.
  2. I get the same exact behaviour on my Androids running Evernote. You can prevent this by leaving Evernote in the background running. But as the framework it uses is super heavy only on my devices running >=8 GB RAM Evernote stays reliably in background. On the other devices it gets killed sooner or later from RAM and then they suffer from the described bug. Opening a note while the app is still booting / syncing / what ever leads to a sudden crash. Maybe one of the race conditions the app still suffers from, they have to get rid off. Hopefully they are testing on middle class devices as well and are on this bug. I raised a ticket, but got only random automatic answers, the information was not passed to a human for review.

Getting this white screen @Mozzer181920 points out from time to time when opening a note from "home" or "shortcuts" immediately after starting the app. Do not get it, when the app has run a while and opening a note then. Maybe a racing condition on app start / sync they fail to handle here. Unfortunately support seems offline. As I only get automatically generated answers to the tickets I doubt the devs even get input from our tickets. So not worth the time invested in reporting bugs 😞
  4. As it pops up several times a day although being clicked off, it seems to be a bug to me. Very annoying. To point this out, I submitted a support ticket# 3840635
  5. Hopefully they will invest the freed ressources in optimizing the Android client. It is still unbearably slow and still way to instable for me on every Android device I own. Since EN 10 I have been waiting for an Android client that does run fluently on real world (not only top notch) Android devices, again. We had that with the native EN 8.13.3. @Federico Simionato: Any chance that we will see a substantial boost in performance on the Android app? Thank you.

  7. Got response from support, they are being unable to fix the problem (for 4 months now). They have (again?) escalated this to development... I kindly asked for deleting my billing information (credit card) from my account, which they totally ignored. Obviously no capable support available anymore. Very uneasy fealing about all this. Let's see if on renewal date another 100+ € are charged. Ticket# 3831942.
  8. Hi welcome to the forums. I have been getting this error message as well for months now and therefore had to cancel my subscription via support to prevent mysterious things to happen 😉 They said, that the subscription had been cancelled...but well, it is still not visible. Obviously I am not alone. Issued a new ticket for this as well. Got an AI reply that totally missed the initial problem. Now I am waiting for a real answer. (will post ticket nr. later)
  9. I retried after your comments with the new Android 10.67.0 and could reproduce the issue on my end. Setup: two Android clients, one windows client running in the same Wifi with latest clients. All clients are running and online (on screen). Creating a task on one Android, "Test8" in an existing note with other content in it. Immeditaly after sync the task was renamed on all clients to "Test". On another try i get "Test8" changed to "Test88" several minutes after the initial sync showed "Test8" correctly on all devices. Cannot reproduce this all the time, it is intermittently. Very weird. Reminds me of an early bug, where the last characters typed had not been synced. Maybe tasks are treated as "metadata". Therefore will try tasks again when they introduce RENT. Some user here, that experience similar issues with task sync since RTE?
  10. RTE for me in general works well for basic note content, too. What still does not work is syncing of tasks. One example: Changing of task titles for example on Android are made undone by the windows clients lateron. Still cannot use tasks at all because of that.
  11. Since we are in the Android forum I tried to reproduce this on my Androids - and sadly can still reproduce this. I have been preventing this from happening since the beginning of EN10 for Android through the setting @PinkElephantsuggested above. It is the option "Telephone", deactivate it for peace of mind. Raised a ticket on this long time ago. Sad to see, that this was never addressed. I thinkg the idea of auto-convert to a phone number is good. But it has to be implemented correctly for all users they sell their product to. For me the EN10-app has still has a debt of the former US centric development to overcome. For example: Look at the calendar implementation. Still giving you 12 hour-am/pm clock values on web app and desktop app for windows no matter if your region and OS runs the 24h-clock (another one I ticketed a while ago).
  12. I saw this behaviour on my installation with EN 10 for windows as well. Never figured out the reason for this. For me the workaround was to export via Evernote legacy for windows. As legacy seems no long-term option for the future I am now using Evernote Backup from github as well. Works good.
  13. Same here on Android with EN 10.61.1. Cannot reproduce what triggers it. It does not always happen - but too often, that read-only notes get a new modification date. Let's see what support will tell.
  14. I get this as well. Raised a ticket on that some weeks ago. Got a reply that they are working on it. After some weeks later still same problem. Went again through support to stop the subscription renewal before due date, just in case, the fail on fixing it until 2024-04 😂. After waiting another 10+ days got the cancellation confirmation now. Have to trust it, since the subscription information still is not visible in my account. 🤷‍♂️ (Germany, paid through credit card)
  15. I think @sefdaasdfgadgis refering to the built-in EN feature for directly screen capturing to a new note: They chose the exact keyboard-shortcut as windows uses for the snipping tool. So all you get when hitting alt+ctrl+s is the snipping tool. Even if you click on the monitor (see my screen shot bottom left) - which is a button within the Evernote task menu helper app - you get the snipping tool and not the capturing tool within Evernote. The last seems weird to me.
  16. I loaded 10.58.1 on Android via apkmirror. Can confirm, the freezing has been resolved. Sketching by finger most often works...unfortunately sometime still lags or stops working. But this is the long time bug related to S Pen not working at all for several months now 😔 Short: freezing of the app seems gone, sketching still buggy on Samsung - with S Pen still not working at all.
  17. Hi @McVitasConflicts should only show when a note is edited on different clients that are not able to keep in sync (e.g. missing network). Whereas working on only one client should not produce any issues. I would suggest raising a ticket. The Android client still seems to suffer from rare internal racing conditions (bug) sometimes leading to these conflicts (see them sometimes too but very rarely fortunately).
  18. Very nice! Would love to see improvements on mobile as well. Real time meta data sync and push sync / background syncing on mobile still missing - having to wait for homescreen to update notes, tasks and quick notes upon app start which takes much longer than on web! Tasks and reminders not being synced unless client is running in foreground. Thank you (speaking about the Android client)

  20. As feedback was requested: - Fixes an issue where images were replaced with spinning circles in the note body. No, I still see this bug on 10.55 on Android upon every first opening of a freshly created note. Going back and open again resolves the issue. No good UX for my blood pressure 😉

Only cold starting the client helps to finally see affected images in my case. PS: Similar bug I still see on Android as well.
  22. @McVitasCan confirm, happens quite often to me, too. Endless loading circle. Back and re-opening the note helps but the bug is annoying. I have the impression that this increased recently.
  23. Just got 10.54 and unfortunately the S Pen issue seems still not fixed (on my devices).
  24. Android: on middle class devices unfortunately still way to slow for daily fluent usage, waiting time for any action within EN10. The legacy app was lightening fast on these devices. Still suffering from this... Windows: somewhat catched up, fluent workflow most often.
