I think that Evernote designers hate the preferences. So the easy solution in that case would be to remember the last used type of search. Once I switch to "Everywhere", all subsequent searches should default to "Everywhere", until I switch again.

I see this feature implemented in v10.5.0 (beta). The URL is displayed at the top of the note. Also you can show an URL column in list of notes. See attached screenshot.

There are two very important keyboard shortcuts when working with the new Quick Note window: ESC This should close the window. Command + Enter This should save the note and close the window. I use the quick note functionality often and it really bothers me that it forces me to move my hands from keyboard to mouse and click around. It defeats the word "quick" in the name "quick note". What I would like to do is: I'm working and I have an idea I'd like to note. I hit Control + Command + N to open the quick note window. I write down the idea. I hit Command + Enter. The note is saved and the window closes. I continue working. Please.

When I browser on my phone, I often use the "Share to Evernote" feature to save a website to read it later. My Android phone saves the content of webpage as a note by default. In previous version of Evernote, the URL of webpage saved this way was visible in the note. I could click on it and immediately go to the original page. In new version, this is obfuscated. The URL of webpage is still there, but it is only accessible via "Note Info" window. I would like two changes: Include the URL of saved webpage in a note. Let me click on it directly. Just like in old version. Let me choose what the "Share to Evernote" does on Android. I don't want it to save the webpage content. I would like it if it just created a note with URL of the page.

I'm glad I can now open the Quick Note window using a global keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+ Command + N). But once it is open, I'd like to continue using keyboard to control the window. There are few missing features: keyboard shortcut for "Convert to note" button - I would expect Command + Enter to work here key to close the Quick Note window - I would expect the ESC key to work here close the Quick Note window automatically after it has been converted to note I really miss the ability to quickly create a new note while I am working on something else, without raising my hands from the keyboard and then just continue working. This is how it worked with the old version of Evernote and it was great.
