Basically you create a markdown note using the M+ button on top right and that piece of note is created as a markdown note. Currently they support editing as md on Mac Chinese version of Evernote (and viewing on other platform), but it seems that the team is trying to implement the functionality to all platforms.

The Chinese team has started their native Markdown support back in august, I think as a popular language today, it should be supported in Evernote as well.
