  1. This pricing approach does not make a lot of sense to me, regardless if they didn't raise the price for a few years. What real improvements have I seen in the app over the last decade that justifies any price increase? Not much coming to mind. It's an app for storing notes. At roughly $14/month for some, in the new pricing structure, it's hard to justify when you compare to all the other monthly subscriptions that everyone has these days. I am a long time user as well and really do love some of Evernote's capabilities, but none of it is really mind-blowing, especially at $14/month. For the Apple users out there, Apple Notes is similar and free. It doesn't have some of Evernote's capabilities like the Web Clipper, horizontal rules(?) and a few other useful features, but are they worth 14 dollars a month? I think it's a tough decision. Apple Notes doesn't quite do it for me, but I am actively looking at other options.
  2. I could understand in-app advertising to a degree for users on a free plan, but I am not on a free plan, I am on the Personal plan. I have no need or desire to upgrade to premium - it make no sense for me. Here are the advertised advantages to moving up to Premium: 20 GB of new uploads per month Create, manage and assign tasks Connect multiple calendar accounts Full Home customization Advanced search options I have never come close to the 1GB monthly quota I have never shared a note I don't connect a calendar I only visit the "Home" when I'm forced to in the iPhone app Advanced Search might be useful, but I haven't been yearning for an improved search experience So, for $50 more, I see zero benefit. I am not the target audience here - but I am getting annoyed by pop-up ads. Anyone else think the request for update on desktop is a little irritating as well?
  3. Please add the ability to turn off the pop-up notifications for app updates or at least depreciate their system influence - they are very invasive. It would be acceptable to me if the pop-ups were within the Evernote Desktop app, but these notifications supersede all apps (on Mac), in other words, they switch the desktop to Evernote, regardless of what you are currently working on or viewing. Updating Evernote is hardly my top priority and if Evernote thinks that it is more important to inform me of a x.xxx update than my business video calls, then I may need to move to a note-taking app that isn't so egotistical.
  4. Sorry, just found the Shortcuts app, which is cool. But for a solution to an Evernote web clip, it's not ideal as PinkElephant mentions.. It just pastes the web page into a note, but you can't edit the formatting. So, web clipper on desktop is far superior to this. I was just sharing links via email before and web clipping it on desktop- I will probably continue doing that.
  5. I'm on a mac, but I am using the legacy version of evernote, because I didn't like some of the new functionality that recently was added. So, with that said, I had somehow changed the color of some cell borders, but now I can't change them back. That Format > Table > Table Properties has no effect.
