I have this issue too after cutting and pasting from a PDF -- Make Plain Text doesn't resolve the issue. Is there any resolution? Very frustrating, as I frequently use evernote to take quotes out of PDFs.

I'm having the same problem! I have tried both solutions listed here (rebuilding the index and option+shift+sync circle click). The lack of feedback on these is also frustrating. In any case, as users above, notes with the word I'm searching for *in the title* don't appear when I search. This is extremely frustrating. Have paid for evernote for several years, but will discontinue/migrate to another system if this isn't fixed as it makes Evernote nearly worthless. Using 10.13.5, Evernote 7.2
