I just wiped out the whole disk and downgraded one MAC to Big Sur. The first thing I did after login was to install EN Legacy and test the above function and it's the same problem???

Could anyone test MAC EN Legacy on Monterery or Big Sur and let me know if the above function works? Really appreciate it!

Anyone can confirm if MAC EN Legacy "Add search option" inside "search notes" still work on Monterey?

I have two MACs just upgrade to Monterey yestesday and today I noticed the above function is not working. If I click "Add search option", the cursor went back to search field without showing more search options.

I know EN Legacy won't get any fix but I tried EN v10 many times but never really like it so I try to stay with EN Legacy.

One of MACs is the MAC mini M1, it came in with Ventura and got more issues with EN legacy so I downgraded to Monterey hoping working fine but now got stuck with this issue.

I just noticed that if I cut/paste one image into EN, the "same" image can't be pasted from EN out to other apps like my email or google drive. This is the operation I have been using for years.

I can't use this new version 10 anymore(upgraded in the weekend). will have to try to go back to 7.14.

I'm dissapointed that EN release the new feature train with so many functions missing/wrong.

In 7.14, there is a seperate control to adjust text box width but missing in 10.4.4. If I cut/paste long text notes into image annotation, right now I have to manually type enters to get line wrapped. This is very time consuming and not productive.

It looks like new EN 10 won't save my image annotation tool color/line thickness so everytime I want to annotate image, I have to change color/line thickness again.

my problem is that my zoom level is zoom out one level higher than default. after I restore zoom level with CMD+0, things are ok

It appears to me that the images being pasted into notes are fuzzier and has slightly smaller display dimension than the original one. It shows the same reduced resolution/fuzziness when I click full-screen preview. However, If I double click the image, the Preview will open with original image clarity/resolution so it seems to me that the image is stored in database with original resolution but default notes area choose to shrink down the display a little for some reason.

Most of my notes are based on images/annotations so this has big impact on me compared with 7.14. If I can't get this resolved, i won't be able to use the new EN and will be forced to go back to the old version(hopefully still can).

i'm also facing the same problem and it's really annoying. This is my setup and how to easily reproduce. The key thing is that the images in note are Ratina capture 144dpi instead of regular 72dpi.

EN7.14 on MAC Mojave with macmini 2011 i7 CPU, 16G mem, 27" 2560x1440 monitor

if you capture 3 images using MACbook pro(ratina display) and put into one note and switched to macmini and try to scoll down this note, it'll be very very slow and lagging, the more ratina images(144dpi instead of 72 dpi) you put in one note, the more lagging you have.

For MAC EN, any way that I can move text annotation from one image to the other image? right now I have to annotate the first image, double click text annotation, select texts, copy. then annotate the 2nd image, choose text annotation and then copy texts into this annotation box.

I'm using latest 7.2.3 MAC version. I really want to rename a tag while I'm in the note instead of switch to another view and find the tag I want and then do the renaming.

I only have the following three options. Do we have plan to add one option of "rename the tag" here?

I changed my EN shortcuts a couple of days ago but today I noticed that the changes got reverted back. I have several IOS and Android devices also using EN but I don't change any shortcuts there. This has happened to me multiple times.

one more question.

I don't think EN has the concept of "master" image where the copies of the images all pointing to the original "master" image. So after I make any annotation changes to the "master" image, all copies of this image got updated also(internally they are just a link to the "master" image).

I tested right click menu of "Copy" vs "Copy Image" but it looks like the same to me.

Usually, I create notes/images/annotate using MAC and then use IOS/Android to browse through all images. I need a way to browse all images in a notebook on mobile apps.

sorry, what I meant is notebook. I use them to organize notes.

Hopefully evernote can have more features in the future to organize images better for use cases above.

Any way we can browse all images in a folder by using keyboard arrow key or swiping in IOS/Android? In that case, I can create multiple notes(one image per note) in a main folder and can still browse them easily when in gallery mode.

Any way we can assign tags to images in a note(or at least insert a tag line on top of a image in that note)?

I have lots of images in one note so I can browse through them easily by swiping left/right in IOS/Android Apps. But some images share the same characteristics so I want to assign a tag for these images.

Right now I have to create separate folders to manually sort out all images in "Main folder", say folder 1, folder 2. I use main folder to insert all images and I use sorting folders to group images sharing the same characteristics. I have to manually copy each image in main folder to different sorting folders. That's very painful and causes multiple copies for one "master" image and if I want to annotate the "master" image, I have to copy the changed master image to the sorting folders again.
