This whole episode is unconscionably ridiculous. For those users that still care, I'd suggest that any user could get on LinkedIn and write a pointed, but polite, message to Ian Small, the CEO of Evernote (https://www.linkedin.com/in/iansmall/) letting him know your thoughts.

Frankly, I think it's rather pathetic that Evernote has failed to provide this simple capability in 7+ years.

I'd like to add my voice to the request for the ability to select the thumbnail image shown in any note.
