Since I'm a paying customer, then yes, they have an obligation to listen. If I were using the free version...then no, I wouldn't have any reason to expect support of any kind.
Choice is good. If they are going to jack up our rates, then I don't think it's too much to ask that we have an option to turn off their dumb ideas. Evernote needs to revamp their design team...it's getting embarrassing and I'm tired of seeing the ideas of users being ignored. I no longer recommend Evernote to anyone. I'm still irritated that I have to squint when reading posts on this website because someone decided that light gray text on white was a good design choice.
