Thanks for your feedback. Is there a way to force the application to update? I have version 10.82.2 (Windows) and when I go to the Help menu to check for updates, the application tells me that 10.82.2 is the latest version. Or maybe the updates aren't deployed everywhere at the same time?

I can confirm that I've had the same problem since the last update. At the moment I write all the text without thinking about it and then I wait several seconds for the text to appear, but I hope this will be fixed as bullet points are very useful for organising information.

In my case I received the in-app popup only today. I was able to create notes yesterday. So it may also explain why the forum is calm.

Happened to me. Evernote worked fine yesterday. Today, my folder C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote is empty. I guess Evernote failed/crashed during its update or something like that. Reinstalling it fixed it. I'm using the latest version of the client, Windows 10 Pro
