So, finally got it fixed, with a lot of steps. here's what I did: 1) Checked and updates drivers for anything and everything. 2) Cleaned out system cache and cleaned up Windows using Disk Cleanup. 3) Downloaded Revo Uninstaller, installed it. 4) Rebooted machine, clean start, nothing opened. 5) Ran Revo uninstaller to remove evernote. Removed any registry entry with evernote in it, removed all fiels with evernote in it. 6) Finished with Revo uninstaller. Navigated to the following locations and deleted any and files or folders with 'evernote' in them: C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\evernote-client-updater C:\users\**username**\appdata\roaming\Evernote. 7) Went to 😄 drive and searched for evernote, deleted any and all files with evernote in the name. 😎 Ran Disk cleanup again. 9) Rebooted the machine again. Used it as normal for 2 days, using evernote web. 10) Downloaded a fresh copy of evernote (for the ninth time!), closed everything else, and ran the installer. Evernote installed and ran fine, and has been for a couple days now. I'm calling the issue resolved. Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas or steps to try towards a solution!

Welp, looks like it's time for me to find an alternative to evernote and figure out how to switch things over.

Nope, same stuff I've been running for a few years, and same stuff as on other machiens I have and use.

I did that, by checking with Windows Update, Dell update, and the AMD tool running my system tray, when the issue first occured. No updates found, nothing needed to be updated, all drivers were the latest (stable) drivers. I just checked all of those again, same results, nothing to update.

Oh hey, please dont' be sorry, it's another thing we thought of, looked into, checked, and resolved! At this point, I'll take whatever I can get and try anything that seems like it might work and isn't a safety concern!

Uninstalling with Revo uninstaller again. Advanced scanning mode. Deleted all leftover files. Following up on post from forum: You can try uninstalling and then seeing if there is anything remaining in: C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote : Evernote folder was there, empty. I deleted it. C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\evernote-client-updater : Folder exists, was empty, I deleted it. C:\users\**username**\appdata\roaming\Evernote. : A ***** ton of files and folders in here, I deleted the top level folder. I aldo deleted the Evernote folder in C:\Users\**username**\AppData\LocalLow Anything else you suggest I do before I reboot, download a fresh copy, and try it again?

Ah! Well, at least that means it's another step I can check off!

How do I disable hardware accelration in Evernote? Keep in mind I cannot access any menu or function in the app on my PC due to the error.

As shown with screenshots in my posts above, I have already completed these steps. As there are no other issues with WIndows at this time, and, as Evernote is currently working correctly on two other machines with Windows, same version, I'm thinking there's something we're missing here.

Harumph. Well, hopefully someone else will chime in with a solution. I have submitted three tickets for help with evernote so far, again as noted in the first post, and I expect them to respond to those tickets.

Thanks. I'm still searchign since Revo didn't work for me. Seems to be a common error, so while I'm glad it's not me, it IS very frustrating to see so many copies of this error, but no help at all from Evernote.

Yep, did that already, it's been done four times, shown here in this thread twice.

Community forum suggested using 'Revo unsintaller'. Downloaded, installed, running. Selected evernote> unsinstall> Advanced scanning mode. Deleted all the items with 'evernote' in them. Continued uninstall, file scan found a LOT of files; I reviewed, found all of them to have evernote in them, deleted all. Revo is all done, rebooting PC. Rebooted PC, downloaded a fresh copy of evernote from the evernbote website, installed. Issue persists. Same error code: Exit code - 1073741819

Howdy! I don't know, I wasn't able to find any other threads with this issue, which is why I started a new one. I tried searching 'discussion.evernote.com' with google for my key words, but didn't find anything. I also could not find a way to search the site internal to evernote.

I've been getting this error since 23DEC on my desktop, a Dell Optiplex running Windows 10, 64 bit, all stock/standard. Latest version/updates. I have: Uninstalled evernote, Rebooted my PC, downloaded a fresh copy from evernote.com, and installed it, the error persists. I uninstalled again, used CCleaner to find and delete all files with Evernote, including in folder in the AppData folder, rebooted the PC, downloaded a fresh copy from evernote.com, and installed again, issues persists. Restarting evernote leads to the same error, I tried up to nine times. I am not having any other issues or errors at this time. I have submitted three tickets to evernote, response on the first one was, 'uninstall and reinstall', even though I had already done that, and it was noted in the ticket.

01MAY23 Found a new issue, date/time stamp not working. In legacy version, using 'Shift + Alt +D'gave me a date and time stamp that matched my system format; 01-May-23 0600. Now it does not. First, when I use 'Shift + Alt + D', I only get the time, where 'Ctrl + Alt +D' gives me the date. I cannot have both. Second, the date and time formats are wrong, and don't match my system. Third, I cannot find a way to change the date or time formats in evernote. I submitted a ticket, but we know how useless that is these days. Ideally, we'll be given, or pointed to, a setting inside evernote to change the date and time formats, even if it's just to match the system formats. I could achieve the same thing I used to have by using both keyboard shortcuts, but it'd be nice to have one shortcut for both date AND time.

LOL. First I had to fight my way into C/S, then I had to fight against them because they insist on fighting about everything and listening to nothing. Took a long time a lot of chats before they finally relented and gave me some troublehsooting steps.

1755, FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER, TURN OFF, AND THEN TURN BACK ON, THE SHARING LINK. It took an hour and forty minutes, five people, way too much horrible customer service, and me asking the exact same questions at least 1,000 times to get this?!?!?

Howdy all! So, most of the shareable links I've sent out lately have been working fine, but today, one did not. It's a new note I created 02APR23, and shared the same day. I reached out to evernote support through a ticket this morning and a few chats this afternoon; so far nothing from the ticket, and the chats have been with agents who refuse to answer any questions or assist in any way. Why are you guys so hung up on what I do, or do not, like? Also, you might want to make a special note that this thread is already marked as resolved, more importantly to you, from the post YOU MADE. I removed legacy, installed v10, tweaked the UI to my liking, and moved on. Now what?

I don't think the responses from that profile are worth discussing, it appears to be a troll, or something akin thereto. Either way, it's still wrong, no on asked about links from the old version working in the new version, nor is that something anyone is likely to ask about, because that's not how evernote works.

Not only was this not concluded, it was not discussed, AND, it has never been a topic of discussion in this thread until you brought it up. Would you please point out where, in this thread, you found that item? "Since then you are ranting along here about v10 - which is not the point." Would you please point out where I am 'ranting' about v10? All of the items I've posted have been in favor of moving on to v10, which I am embracing. Also, I'm quite certain you don't know what the point is, since you've missed it more than a dozen times. Nevertheless, if you'd like to point out the point, I'd be interested to see what you think the point of this thread is. "There is no way to restore deprecated legacy to an active status, and if you like or dislike v10 plays no role in making the links work again (they won't). I didn't ask or request that; can you point to any of my text in this thread to show any support for your statement? I would also like to see any place in this thread where my response suggests that I expect my opinion of v10 has any part in the role of making th elinks work again. Can you point to ANYTHING I've said to support ANY of the items you've accused me of saying?

Yep, we already know that, and it was never a concern or topic of this post. Could you please tell me what question this response is supposed to answer?
