  1. While I deleted some note that were created by Evernote due to a conflict. One note did actually not disappear completely from the notebook. Instead, the note stayed as some kind of placeholder. The title is still displayed in the note list, but the text preview has been replaced by placeholder lines. Left clicking the note leads to the content pane being completely empty (no title, no date, location, no content). Right clicking the note in the note list it does not open a context menu (so no possibility to try to delete again). The screenshot shows the view of the app window with the first note being opened, so the content on the right is from another note. On my mobile phone, this note placeholder does not show up. I read in another thread to open Evernote's web application and take a look there. However, as I do not have a paid subscription, as I am using Evernote on Windows and Android, I am not allowed to use the web application. So I cannot check if the note placeholder shows up there. Would anyone have an idea how to remove this?
  2. Further above it says that "some users prefer that the screen must not time out". Maybe Evernote could do a poll and ask users what they would prefer. I personally also dislike that the display is kept on. Sometimes I just quickly take a look at a note in Evernote and then put the phone away, only to find out later when I grab the phone again that the display was lit all the time. Also, it should be possible to make it into an option in Evernote's settings, so each user could set this to his own liking
