This is really disappointing. It's making me think seriously about moving to Microsoft OneNote, where visual grid notebooks are not only possible, but you can choose the color of the notebook cover as well. Maybe if more of us made noise about leaving -- especially the paying users -- there would be more openness to their responses. Not happy!

I add my vote to all that have asked for the grid notebook view to return. The visual layout, dragging one note book on top of another to create a stack, opening/closing stacks and seeing their components spread out visually -- all these things were key to my decision to embrace Evernote. Please bring back the visual notebook grid view!
