You are not alone. I'm finding that I'm using Evernote more as a searchable file cabinet than a note taking tool. I'm a premium subscriber and have used EN for many years but I seem to be at a loss when it comes to handwritten note taking ability. OneNote is working hard to capture the pen/stylus/"pencil" input device with an active accessible canvas across platforms. I truly hope this is a market EN intends to be a player. While a leader on indexed and searchable documents MSFT could add that easily with their deep expertise in cloud and database services. Seems like a huge exposure for the EN product.
Am I missing something ? I almost can't take notes on my Samsung Note Devices, or my Surface Pro, without using a keyboard or tiny text stylus only input box.
